The Podium team will be VERY impressed, have you posted this over at the Podium forum?
Amazing work. Podium is seemingly excellent for interiors, the light just looks so real. Needs very little configuration too; just a slide here and a slide there and you're done! Amazing work, hats off.

Good stuff! Yeah the "nipple" at the top of some batteries varies. I had the same issue with my Semovar which has a fixed but adjustable base cap....no spring. I would have to adjust the base cap based on the battery I was using which was soooooooo annoying.
Glad you fixed it. I'm back on the Provari and loving it. The semovar used to drink batteries; I have no idea why but I'm getting great battery life from the Provari even with the tiny batteries. I don't know why I even changed to be honest.
For someone with such "killer taste" I would expect a much tastier video!
I broke my Semovar mod last week. I finally had enough!
It kept throwing out error codes, screen stopped working, would only use half a battery before saying battery was low...etc etc....so I unscrewed everything for a deep clean and one of the connections popped into the circuit board tube and I couldn't get it back out. I tried retrieving the connection with a screwdriver which eventually turned into a frustration-relieving stabbing technique! I then finished it off with a hammer. Totally smashed the whole thing to bits.
So now I'm back on my original Provari and it feels great! Great build quality; makes me wonder why I even changed in the first place. So reliable.
I have started making lower resistance coils so I can get away with using smaller battery mods; the 18350 battery is just fine. Happy Vaping everyone!
I suppose that's as good an excuse as any to upgrade to 2015!
The reason I stayed with V8 is because of all the plugin conflicts I kept reading about. I suppose I'll just have to deal with it!
Thanks, I will have a look when I'm back on my SU computer. Really strange how this is happening!
So...I'm kinda lost.
I can only open SU using the "disable ruby api" code.
I can't restart SU to see my plugins, it just crashes unless I use the above code.
I deleted the old Twilight Render plugin and now SU opens....but obviously without any plugins.
But......I tried the original code you gave me and SU still crashes?
When I paste that into terminal, it opens SU but then it closes straight away. It loads some plugins and then quits before I can do anything.
Could it be a plugin causing this problem?
Thanks for your support

Anyone else seen Yosemite conflicts with SketchUp 8?
everyone that uses it...
there are a couple of 'fixes' if you can live without 'fonts' and 'Outliner'
I've got a script if you want...
v15 works very well...
john
Yes, please share the fix. I've got a job I need to finish on SU and I just can't open it.
This is why I don't like updating things!
