Thanks for the advice. I will see if making the gap wider will help. Im guessing that the area is so thin that its causing this as an issue.

Hello everyone. Again Im having an issue with solid inspector in that its finding a problem but when I try to fix it its coming up with faces that dont seen to have edges. I havent seen anything like this before and have no idea what to do....
Im sure this is an obvious beginner mistake but its just beyond me . Any help is really appreciated.

Possibly a stupid question, how do you orient a face? Is this why some of them are grey in colour? (I was curious about that).

Hello all,
First post on here and its for a problem I cant seem to solve (total lack of experience trying to use anything to make 3D images.
I have used the solid inspector and it says I have a problem (which is interesting because before I combined the two objects they were individually solid).
I have tried to tidy up the offending area but any time I delete any lines it takes away the whole surface. Id really appreciate any advice....
