Thanks for the advice. I will see if making the gap wider will help. Im guessing that the area is so thin that its causing this as an issue.

Thanks so much Box! I would never have found that. Just so I dont do it again in the future are there common ways this hidden geometry is made?

Hello everyone. Again Im having an issue with solid inspector in that its finding a problem but when I try to fix it its coming up with faces that dont seen to have edges. I havent seen anything like this before and have no idea what to do....

Im sure this is an obvious beginner mistake but its just beyond me 😞. Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks. I will give that a go.

Possibly a stupid question, how do you orient a face? Is this why some of them are grey in colour? (I was curious about that).

    • Looks solid but isnt....

      Hello all,

First post on here and its for a problem I cant seem to solve (total lack of experience trying to use anything to make 3D images.

I have used the solid inspector and it says I have a problem (which is interesting because before I combined the two objects they were individually solid).

I have tried to tidy up the offending area but any time I delete any lines it takes away the whole surface. Id really appreciate any advice....
