make sure that the correct face style is selected. If you're in "monochrome" stlye, materials won't appear even if they are technically applied to the surface.

RE: [Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v14.7a - 09 Nov 24
if I place the ".plugin" file inside the "LibFredo" subfolder it works. So thanks for that,

Has anyone else successfully tried this? I just installed it, overwrote the exisitng files, and get the same error messages. Thank you,

RE: [Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v14.7a - 09 Nov 24
Hi- When I opened up Sketch-Up tonight there was the familiar "check for update" icon for the various Fredo plugins. I clicked the icon to check and recieved the following error messages:
I've used this functionality many times without a problem. Any suggestions?
Thank you,

RE: [REQ] Centerline of two curves
Thanks for the reply Dave. I get the curves drawn, but even when changing the sampling to "2", I still get many curved lines. I've only been able to get it to work by using the "loft" function.
At least I get a result... -
RE: [REQ] Centerline of two curves
Don't mean to hijack the thread- I tried this and when I run curviloft I don't get the same screen shown as the OP. I don't have the options for type of spline curve, nor for the number of segments. I've downloaded the most recent version of Curviloft as well as the Lib fredo directory. Does one also need the bezier curve plugin or something else. I apologize if I'm missing something obvious, thanks,
MichaelEdit: I think I discovered that the OP's screen shot is of the "Loft" function, not the "Skinning" function. Sorry to bother.

RE: How to extrude from angle to plane?
Fredo6's Vector push pull will allow you to select the vector (direction) of the extrusion (in this case the ground plane). You will have to do an Intersect to allign the final face with the other leg however...

Question re: mouse for MAC users
I'm a lifelong PC user, but I'm trying to teach Sketchup to a friend with a MAC. She had to buy a 3 button mouse, and when we try to Orbit or Pan by depressing the scroll wheel, some funky thing happens. It switches to another program. Simply rolling the scroll wheel zooms as expected. Does any MAC user have a suggestion as to how to assign the scroll wheel the appropriate Sketchup function? (btw, it's a Logitech wireless mouse)
Thanks,

RE: Addict Tool?
if I understand your question, then Curviloft's "Loft by Spline" is what you want.

RE: Coffee table
Is this something you will build yourself? I beleive that here in the States "freijo blonde" is "teak" wood. Very expensive around here, but beautiful. Nice.

RE: Reducing size of model
how about the trick of replacing poly heavy objects like plants with a temporary spacer, like a stick, and then replacing those components at the end when needed?
-
RE: Probably a no-brainer...extruding a curve making me crazy!
I think the problem is the scale of your model. Sketchup doesn't like tiny faces. Try scaling up by 10 or even 100x ,extrude, then scale it back.
-
RE: Wood texture problem
Of course I learned it from Dave and his great blog/tutorials
-
RE: Wood texture problem
you have to open the component for editing and paint on individual faces to be able to adjust them. You won't have that option if you apply textures to the "closed" component.

RE: Scale Printing issue
If I'm not mistaken, to print to scale, the "camera" has to be set to parallel projection.
