I think I am real dumb, since I am the only one who can not use the program and create something at first look. I even couldn't understand what is this

what? I didn't see anything to do with sketchup? does the software itself save a SU file?
ok I must be dense because I don't see anything about a component or SU anywhere...

RE: A welcome post to a gr8 community and a problem as well...
the problem can be about materials, because not all the materials have the same effects in your attachment(floor looks quite nice). probably most of the materials have something wrong in common, try to replace one of the materials with a simple one and give it a try. If it also have the same problem, make your window non-transparent and add a ies light inside the room, so we can see if the problem is about your window or light outside.

RE: Invisible object but still show shadows received at this obj
1- place your plane on a white surfice
2- take render, save both render and alpha channel images (so you can keep transparent materials)
3- use both images together in photoshop(you can find how on youtube)
4- place any photo under your images grass field street anything you want.
So you will have shadow, you will be able to see the background trough transparent materials, it will look more realistic.
It's my solution, hope it works for you -
VRay is using only %17 of cpu!
I had my first project, designd something and told my client that i will present everything next weekend. For the first time I spend so much time on Sketchup for 3D of this project. Modeling was just fine, I worked on every detail and created a 250mb model.
But about rendering, it only uses %17 of my CPU and it will take about 50 hours for a 1280X720p only for just one scene.
I have Displacement maps on just 2 materials and they are quite simple and Bump on some of the materials. maybe 10 materials have also Reflection.
With other programms this kind of a scene would take maybe 10 hours with my pc and would probably use %90-95 of my cpu, but Sketchup Vray is using only %17 of it. Is there a way to solve it? it's an emergency
THANKS!
