Yeah that's not it, cause sketchup 2020 (demo) version works just fine with same files without any problems, that 2018 version having difficulties

Sometimes when minimizing and opening again browser PC reacts not so fast and not so quickly restores an already open image as before. So this is one of the observations I think relates with sketchup slow performance. It gives the impression that the computer got slower with tasks

Since this is new behavior and SketchUp 2018 hasn't changed since 2018, you need to look at what has changed on your computer. What is the graphics card? Did the drivers get an update with an OS update? Go to the graphics card manufacturer's site to get and install their latest drivers. It's not uncommon for Windows updates to include broken graphics drivers.

Is the file size huge? Where are you saving the file to? Maybe you're waiting for an autosave to complete.

When you installed SketchUp 2018 did you do so correctly? That involves right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator while you are logged in as your normal user.

My graphic card is nvidia rtx 2080 ti and as I mentioned before drivers are up to date, updated them after sketchup started these freezes. Maybe there's something with last windows update, but I have already uninstalled almost all, except those that cannot be removed.
When installed fresh I did install as administrator, so did not help, same situation..
Autosave and file size has nothing to do with this problem, because it worked fine before

So the problem is very anoying, it started a few days ago and I can't find solution anywhere, maybe somebody is facing the same or know the answer of fixing it.
Sketchup version 2018. When trying to click on object or move it sketchup freezes for 10 seconds, sometimes longer. Both left and right mouse clicking is causing same situation.
So what I tried to do :
Uninstall sketchup and reinstall - did not help
Update nvidia drivers - did not help
Uninstall new windows updates - did not help

Models size obviously is not causing the problem, because I worked on same models few days ago and work was fine.

Will be waiting for ideas to solve it!

EDIT : I installed newer version of sketchup 2020 trial and it's working well without any problems on same files..

Hey guys, having strange issue when rendering vray vrscene file exported from 3ds max to skp.
Problem is that when trying to render vrscene exported model (archmodels) in CPU, model renders with no textures in grey. But when switching to GPU rendering is fine, with all textures.

Maybe there's something with settings in 3ds max that should be changed?

Hi, so the issue is when rendering some intensive light such as rectangle light (like in example) it renders in these pixels, not smooth line, same with other subject emissive light and etc.

My question is which settings should I increase to get clean smooth line light?

So the problem is that when I'm trying to change the direction of sketchup shadows it doesn't change when rendering, still renders the same no matter what I direct to. What could be the symptom?

Hey guys, this problem causing me for a while, I downloaded the .viropt settings for my interiors and its great, except for one thing. The light on the wall spread is awful, dont know what to change in my settings for more cleaner render.. Maybe someone can help fixing this?
