Oh no! I was so excited that double cut was going to save me huge amounts of time, and now I have to pick whether I am more invested in double-cut or Skalp. Super bummed about this.

In my experience this is not possible. It seems to break badly when I stack dynamic components. In my situation I had to rewrite everything to refer to the position of the outer most component group. That works, but it takes away any advantage you might get from having dynamics in dynamics. You'd think it would just work, but alas...
Maybe try putting dynamic components in a group then back in the parent component?
Thanks for posting and answering. I second most of the points, and would like to add a request for a usable spell check. Perhaps it's a bug, but "check whole document" appears to mean "don't check whole document". If I had known that I could have saved some embarrassment. I am not a great speller and I need those red underlines to show up in a timely logical manor.
