The tv is my own creation so I take responsibility for it's dimensions and appearance. Trying to come up with a better way to show F1 on the telly. As far as the ceiloing goes I have tried using the ceiling itself as a light source which renditioner can do, it needs toning down though which is something renditioner cannot do as far as I can see. Still looking. Thanks for taking the time guys, much appreciated.

I am looking for c's@c's for this render, any pointers you may have I am willing to listen to. Not lookling to have folk do my rendering for me but I am some way off the almost photographic results some of you have achieved. Rendered in Renditioner 2 pro.

seriously looking for ies files/lights for render purposes but the sources I have found are about as much help as a dodo in a lolipop factory.

How do you guys keep track of which file works for what kind of light fixture?

A source which can show this would be really useful.

I grew up in Battersea (south London) in just such a house, loads of characters and a very friendly community. Nobody had a pot so there was no jealousy of who had what or not unlike now.

In the 90's most of the terraces were torn down and replaced with multi storey housing which lost the gardens for slabs of concrete and potted trees which made the place feel very cold and soul less, losing its identity. I went back to the house I lived in then as a few at the end of the street were left ( I am informed the money ran out) and although they had put new tiles on the roof they left the original structure which meant the roof sagged at the back, it was a bit pathetic really.

The original boundry between these back to back terraces was an open sewer and when I was a kid this evident by a dip in the ground level where the boundry wall/fence was, a link with the 17th and 18th century housing boundry location. The school at the top of our street was built over one of the rivers turned into a closed sewer during the big push to cleanse the city and was named after the river, Latchmere school. Yep, despite living over the road from school, I was sometimes late. John, I might have to emulate you as this series has givien me the urge to model these streets as I remember them. Thanks for that.

I would say the extra render time is worth while in this photoREAL demonstration. John, you are THE person to render emulate and some insight into your treatment of textures, as in what it is you are working to achieve would bring the rest of us up at least a couple of notches. You are bluddy good Sir.

When I grow up I'd like to be able to render and build like wot you do. Cheers marrer.
