RE: Small Shooting Break.
I do not mean to be confrontational here but, apparently you are judging my model by your stylistic preferences and this is not a good place to start. You have models which are aggressive and styled for a 'younger' audience where the style you have adopted is something admired.
I am not designing my cars for the rubber band tyre brigade, nothing personal just not what I do, perhaps you can critic the models for a substantial rather than an esoteric reason. At the end of the day it is in the WIP section for a reason too, basically it is not finished yet. Thanks though, I think.

RE: Small Shooting Break.
Good point, thanks. I sometimes get distracted and forget the basics. Another renditioner render. Getting more backplates and mats now so this is becoming a more and more useful tool.

RE: Small Shooting Break.
Too square and symetrical. A rethink with coupe and hatchback versions. Roof is the thing changed, below the window line they are identical. Coupe is half an inch shorter but the other dimensions are the same. Wheels are 15 inch so a bit smaller.

Small Shooting Break.
Another wip in the automotive theme, I might even finish this if I like it enough. This particular brief is for a small hybrid town/city var but it had to be a bit different. 10 feet long by 4' 6" wide by 36.5 inches high (42 inches from the road surface).

RE: Libfredo problem.
Reinstalled plu-ins as I had suggested I would. Just thought there might be a quicker way. Not something I was concerned about.

RE: Libfredo problem.
No offense taken mate, right now we are having a bit of a heatwave. The british summe is supposed to be wet and cold so I am just not getting everything at the moment. I mean, what is this all about? A summer that is hot and sunny, in England....................

RE: Libfredo problem.
"Cat might be silenced and searches and responses improved if you edited the subject line, theoretically speaking".
I am afraid I do not get what you are on about, sorry.
The comment about the cat is a tongue in cheek response to a tongue in cheek comment.

RE: Libfredo problem.
I tried listening to opera once with my ex-wife. It reminded me of a cat screaming but then so did my ex-wife after she cleaned out my bank account. Lovely stuff opera, for the deaf.
Sounds like I am redoing from start, oh well, not done that for ages so I can't complain.

Libfredo problem.
OK, Went through the update process and libfredo 4.5 or 45 or whatever did not set up correctly. Removed everythin I could find and did over again. Got the following report when I restarted sketchup.
Any ideas???????

RE: Garden Wall Brick.
Thanks guys, I looked in to thrupaint which I will try once I get the problems caused by updating libfredo6 ironed out, honestly thought things would go well today but that's life. Daniel, thanks for the input, I was just trying the most awkward setup of bricks so the technique could be destruction tested. Later renders will have the correct style, once I am back rendering.
As to the antique brick well, I think it might be ok with an organic wall but there it ends, messing with alignment of texture send the whole thing sideways and it looks a mess.

RE: Garden Wall Brick.
More like this image, found a brick wall builder that makes evrything easier. http://www.brick.com/md/index.htm
I found the textures would not equialise when I tried moving them to match all faces, basically the wall was not looking right, the capping was a method to get by this. I think I have what I need with minimal tweaking, thanks for your input and time.

RE: Garden Wall Brick.
This kind of capping is what I am looking for, I would prefer the same brick texture for continuity.

RE: Garden Wall Brick.
Tried that, easy steps or so you would think. Problem is the one mentioned about alignment. Nothing easy here folks, nothing to see.

Garden Wall Brick.
OK, another one of those d'uh questions probably. I am trying to texture a low brick wall marking a front garden boundry. Problem I have is the top of the wall, if I get the front and back ot the brick texture aligned the top is so pi55ed it makes my eyes cross.
I know it is not the end of the world but I am one of those perfectionist types and cannot rest until I get this.
If you have any clues feedback would be real good. Thanks.

RE: Hetzer Low Poly
Nice Hetzer, is it possible to post the hull texture/colour? Would be much appreciated for an E-25 I am working on.

RE: Poll on ways people use SketchUp
The poll only allows five options and is therefor irrelevent, missing out uses for the product will skew results.
