    • RE: Copy and paste from v8 to v14?

      The components are in my v8 library...I should copy them in the appropriate folder in 14 via the windows file explorer? I wasn't sure I could do that.

      That is interesting on many levels and I bet it would be suitable for many artistic inflections.

      uh..okay
      suddenly I feel like "penny" talking to "Sheldon" ๐Ÿ˜„

      ...actually I wondered if there was a way to automate the trace with some raster/vector software.

      again thanks..
      cotty isn't this rather cumbersome with so many arcs ,each having to be exploded and tweeked separately?

      Dave how would I know if an image needs to be "straightened" ?

    • RE: Best method for tracing a jpg image

      thanks both...I was indeed having trouble with broken/unformed surfaces.
      I was using the standard bezier curve.

      Do I need to place the image on a surface so the line/curves stay planar? ...or just overlap then delete the "tail"

      believe it or not...I was planning on buying pro as soon as I could...
      the increase to 600 and annual upgrades is a deal breaker for me.
      Back to turbocad I guess

      I feel like helping newbs with SU has been such a waste of time.

      hmmm looks like a hill to me.
      In the comments one response was: "This is just another case of white man greed"

      I bet the opposition to the project could be paid enough to change their opinion....no matter what their race was.

      @unknownuser said:

      but the food shortage, at least as i see it, is entirely manmade..

      You are saying that "somebody" is creating food shortages on purpose??? Who?

      @unknownuser said:

      we, as a species, definitely have the means to feed the entire world ten times over.. but we don't. why?

      exactly what is this "means" that would feed 70 billion people (7 billion x 10) and I am interested in your answer as to "why we don't"
