RE: Spaceship (Collaborative Project)
Sort of...though I don't particularly like the bridge in the form. It would sort of be like the Star Trek ones.

RE: Spaceship (Collaborative Project)
You are the guilty party....how can a bridge look like a pimple with a small pitch?

Yeah that was the impression I got from that, will we just make it non detachable?
That would probably be better since the ship already has 3 dettachble parts. Lets not go overboard with that
We can make the smaller ship later. So any ideas for the bridge?

Is the bridge detachable from the main ship?
Damn it...I misundertood that you would make it as the bridge but be a spaceship too.

RE: A chance to win a Thea License
Thank you for the tips Notareal. I appreciate it.

RE: Spaceship (Collaborative Project)
Just one thing....it was supposed to be the secondary bridge. How does that work as a secondary bridge

RE: A chance to win a Thea License
Btw, is there a way to shorten the render time by lowering the quality and not have these artifacts? Even on long renders they don't disappear completely.

Pretty damn fine start Marian.
The Thea forum is really responsive, one of the things I love about this software.
Kepp it upThanks, it's nothing much. I'll see if I'll be more than a lurker there. There are some pretty good artists there.

You know what, I'd like to see our ship rendered with Thea, seems it may give a very realistic render to it, does Thea have the ability to bake textures?
I don't know, but Simlab will have that ability in the next update, which should happen very soon.
http://www.simlabforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6542The big difference is that I can make animations with Thea from scenes in SU.

RE: Spaceship (Collaborative Project)
So...have done anything on the external bridge yet?

RE: A chance to win a Thea License
If I had let it render for 40 minute or an hour it would have looked better, but it was just a test. I'm now looking at the tutorials.

RE: A chance to win a Thea License
It's not that fantastic...I need to learn how to get better renders.
It's was about 20 minutes of render time and 15 of setup time. -
RE: Spaceship (Collaborative Project)
I'm not superstitious at all. Yeah I noticed, we're on page 14.
