RE: A bus shelter for a tropical city (wip)
Thank you, Daniel.

Wouldn't trees in a tropical location be green, though?
And the sky should be blue...
Not necessarily. 'Green' is the image generally associated with amazonian region and the representation more traditional of the tropical areas. The trees in my city (a seafront) have small variations of color and volume along the year.
BTW the intention here isn't to be photorealistic.

RE: Portfolio help
all images are from SU? i like the first and the last. btw i think that for a portifolio the focus must go besides the 'artistic abilities'. maybe more specific: illustration, renderings, models...
- how did you do the last model?

RE: A bus shelter for a tropical city (wip)
Thank you, Jon.
For the wireframe it's just a hidden line option (face style). Turn the sky off and the rest is your choice for a color background.

RE: A bus shelter for a tropical city (wip)
They are components. Only a Tom's tree, repeated. And shadows and fog.

RE: Moon's surface
Thank you all. These comments encourage me. I'm using SU less than six months and amazed with its possibilities. Fine design in a very simple way.
And sorry for my poor english.

RE: Engineering Toolbox not working
Hi, Edson. It works (i use a PC) but in a "3D warehouse-like" way. You need to be online. Roll on the menu and click in the "insert" link.
Oi, Edson. Testei aqui num PC e funcionou. Mas precisa estar online. E' so' escolher a peça que você quer que aparece um menu com as dimensões standard. Depois é so' clicar no link 'insert'.
