    • RE: Array along a path

      I found something... http://www.smustard.com/script/PathCopy . Thank you.

      "PathCopy v.2.1
      by Rick Wilson

description Copy groups or components along a path, at set spacing or node spacing
usage Select "Copy Along Path" from the Plugins menu, select a path, then select a group or component to copy.
Copy to Path Nodes will make a copy of the selected group or component, placing the copies at the vertices of the selected path.
Copy to Spacing will make a copy at set intervals along the path. You may specify a distance in the VCB.
The zip file contains pathCopy.rb, vector.flat_angle.rb, and Icons/pathcopy.png"

      But:

      Known issues
When using the "path nodes" option, items will NOT BE ROTATED 😢 as they are copied. There is a fix planned for this.

    • RE: Architecture and NURBS

By the way, i have to learn more about these mathematical curves.

I am going to try MoI's evaluation version. In fact i liked a lot of that elegant interface and the simplicity that i saw in the video tutorials.

      Ok, thank you.

unless you would like to talk about how to integrate its workflow with SU.

      Why not, Lewis?

SU and MoI have characteristics and different capacities. But we know there are a strong wish to turn SU into a tool more..."organic". And the scripts follows : SubD and smooth, Soap bubble and skin, FFD etc.

SU and MoI there would be a good partnership?

      Thank you for your attention

Wow! We'll need a better interface to manage all these plugins. Another SU7 wish list item. Thank you Matthieu!

Ah, ok. I'm a PC user (running Vista) and, yes, i'm using SU free version. Works fine 😉

      Thank you for sharing, Terry.

The second dialogue box only appears with SU configured in inches units. Isn't?
