      Hi Chris

Bending shape with guides: surely an important improvement. I like the way we can
reverse the direction. It will simplify complex following shapes too (railways, roads,stairs..)

      Cheers

    • RE: Is Sketchyphysics Easy To Understand As A Newbie?

I agree, SketchyPhysic is quite disappointing, the first time you use it. Mainly about positionning....
After that, I downloaded Drawings on 3D wharehouse and dismounted them stp by step to discover the mechanisms...

But the work is valuable, regarding the fantastic animation's capabilities!

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I noticed this feature, but didn't know its use. I'll look at this, soon.

I agree Remus too, posting plugin even beta version may give you a quite large test field. As I often think, there are more ideas in 2 brains than in one, what about hundred ?

    • RE: Special adjust Mode

Hi all, thanks for the Posts.

The previous drawing was just an example, to describe exactly theses blue frames.

Here is the problem I was facing, (I solved it by resizing antenna block !)

Each block has its own properties (cylinder, or default, convex...)
But the cylinder is "crossing" the Antenna group and therefore, will block antenna movement.
Some strange behaviours of moving models often are due to bad or inaccurate positioning,
I 've experienced that several times, and it's a bit annoying not to find why or where!

    • Groups not aligned and views

      Hi All

Idea or perhaps this question has been already solved a while ago ๐Ÿ˜ณ ?

When sketching ( mainly SketchyPhysic's model), sometime it's needed to correct drawings inside a group ,component)
which isn't well positionned according to X,Y,Z axes. Have we somewhere a plugin to display views (face, top left..) into the group axes ?

    • Special adjust Mode

Hi Cphillips and All SketchyPhysic's Friends

Would it be possible to implement a special adjust (running) Mode during Model building ?

Some groups may collide even if they seem to be separate. We experiment thoses effects
only when starting the simulation (run). I 've thought, it could be useful to have a running mode where the blue frames are visible, so we know immediatly which groups may be involved in faulty positionning.

here are the blue frames I speak about.

    • RE: Evaluating LightUp / IDX / Podium

      Hi Honoluludesktop

I'm not specialist, but the aim of IDX Rendering, PODIUM and LightUP is to render
what's drawn with SU. I use the 3 programs, they have different features. For instance, PODIUM and IDX are focused on static accurate rendering, whereas LightUp allows light dynamic rendering, I mean no further calculations when moving into the model. (very useful for heavy project ).

      Hope it's helpful.
