Yey!
After a quick look at page 22 and 17 I managed to scale and get my material quite the way I wanted. Thank you so much Fredrik for the guide. It's getting printed first thing tomorrow morning at school

Tack Fredrik
(Thanks Fredrik)
Oh there's a new guide?! Must have missed it, last I checked there was only the 2007 guide.
I will take a look at the new guide, I'll be back, hopefully with a finished and nice looking render.
OK
Thanks JJ, do you know where in the Material Editor these settings? I have looked but can't find them, maybe I have gone blind after all reading and searching.
Thanks for the reply Remus.
I'll have a look at the material, see if there is something I can change.
A teacher in my school show me a bit of 3Ds Max and that in there is something called UVW map, which told the material how to look on the model - like a box, spherical ect.
Is there something similar in KT?
Thanks, it was actually my girlfriend who came up with the idea.
Hey Guys!
I am quite new to KT and have done some render tries.
In my recent render I thought that all would go well but it did not.
When the render was done it looked like this...(see attachment)
Now I wonder... is it my PC that is to weak or is it something I have done and if so, what can I do to make it better?

Thanks for the guide Gidon!
It really helped.
Finally I can finish my models.
Hi Jean!
Thanks for your answer. I will take a look at the 3D wharehouse, otherwise I'll do the door myself
I have done that but that only changes the measurements in the model to centimeters and not the components like doors and such. I have done my whole model with millimetrers and want to put in doors now but they are in inches so i cant understand what the measurments are for the door. and i really don't want to sit att calculate all the measurments of the door.
Hi guys!
I was just wondering. I've been using sketchup to fool around with for some time now and also started do make som models. But the problem I'm having is that I'm using the metric system, and all the built in components are in feet and inches. Is there som way to change that or do i have to download components made by other from the 3d wharehouse?

OK, maybe I should have a look at that sticky topic
Thanks for the links...
Oh theres a new version coming out, nice..
Hey all!
I've started to render with Kerkythea but am in need of more materials. Is there any site from where you can download some or do I have to make my own?
Cheers
No problem Dylan, mistakes easily happen
I'm gonna look up that book Walt, thanks for the advise. I have already seen a few houses by FLW and I agree with you, his the best. I have also been looking and reading alot about my favorite, Tadao Ando, I have his "complete works" which is just a breath taking book, fantastic photos and drawing plus great reading.
I'll post my on going model as soon as it is ready.
Thanks for all the help and advises.

If you do become an architect, I wish you great clients with great commissions and the talent to do them justice.
Nice said and I really hope it will come true. Thanks yet again.
I'm not a architectural student yet
I've been searching on google but haven't found anything I like yet
I'm trying to draw one myself right now... I would like it as a picture file.
Hey all!
I'm quite new to this forum so I thought maybe I'll start of introducing myself.
Iβm a young wannabe architecture student from Sweden , whoβs mostly playing around in SU during my spare time.
I have tried to make my own houses but havenβt yet got the hold of it so i thought maybe you here could help me...
I'm thinking narrow house plan. I've been reading the tutorial of how the pros do it so i thought Iβd give it a try but can't find a house plan i like. This is where you all here comes in to picture. I was hoping you could help me find or maybe send me a house plan of a narrow house, single floor plan, about 16:9 in length and width.
I would be most grateful for any reply and more grateful for a house plan or to for me to play with.
Cheers
