      Hey guys!

This is my first real post on the sketchucation forums, just a simple work in progress model.
Not quite sure what it can lead to but it feels like it has potential to turn into something beautiful.
I am open to any kind of comment or criticize and of course suggestions.

I have attached the skp-file if anyone of you want to play a little and maybe show me some of your suggestions.

Thank you Jackson for your little tour guide. I'm gonna print it out and then we'll see how we do.

What is the age limit in pubs and such in the UK... is it 18 like it is in Sweden?

    • RE: Visiting the UK

Thanks Alan. Me and my girlfriend have already unfortunately booked rooms in all cities... maybe we should do a second look on the student accommodations. As you said the should be much cheaper than a hotel or even hostel. In Edinburgh we've booked a mixed dorm room which means that we'll have to share it with eight others. Maybe not that fun but it will be an experience. I'm most deffinatley looking up the universities tomorrow. Thank you yet again for the tip Alan.

I live in Linkรถping. What was the reason for you to go to Lund and study? The university in Edinburgh seems much better.

Sounds fun with the festival and less fun with more turists. Just so you know Jackson, we're only going to be in Edinburgh for two days, so we cant do to many things. One thing we're going to do is to visit the university.

If you have any tips on where to live, quite cheap and quite down town, dont hesitate to wirte.

Looking forward for your next post.

    • Visiting the UK

      Hey Guys!

Me and my Girlfriend are going to the UK, more exactly Edinburgh, Liverpool and Brighton, in the end of August. Why these cities? Because we're interested of the universities.

Was just wondering if you have any suggestions on where to live, hotels or hostels, and what to see or visit in the cities mentioned above.

We're thankful for any suggestion and tips.

Thanks guys for all the replies.. now I will toss this back and fourth over the summer and see if I will chose XP or Mac. I will also try to get in contact with some universities to see if they have some kind of guidelines that the computer should follow.

      Thanks yet again!
      Love this forum ๐Ÿ˜„

    • RE: What do you use?

      Thanks Remus for your reply.

I was thinking od using the computer as a study/gaming computer.
And as it looks now, I'm very into a quite powerful laptop to be able to take it with me to school and such.
Hopefully I will be attending a architectural course somewhere in the UK next year and therefore want to be able to run SU and CAD programs.

    • What do you use?

      Hey Guys!

Now, don't misunderstand me, I'm not asking about drugs or somthing. ๐Ÿ˜›
What I mean is: What kind of computer do you use?

I'm planning on getting me a new one and thought I'll ask you all what you recommend.
I've for a long time now been using XP and thinking of switching to OS X and a Macbook Pro, the middle one with 15" screen and 512mb of VRAM but it costs quite much.

So, what do you guys think? Should I go for the Macbook Pro or do you have any other suggestion?

jenjacob, I have done Asterix and Obelix, infact I did the entire Gaul village, the Roman outpost and a few legionares (Max, z-brush, SU). However I cannot even display them as it was done on contract and I waived my rights to them on sale (would not wanna p*ss my client off as they give me lots of work)

David, answer to you. Solo wrote this earlier in the thread.
