I´ve tried locking both the pixel aspect ratio AND image aspect ratio and the increasing the size. Is that very different from ONLY locking pixel aspect ratio?
Thank you!

OK, thank you. What is a preset? Where do I load that?
Where can I set the DPI in Vray? That´s a new one for me.
How much should I increase the size of the artboard from the intended size of use to get good quality? I´ve tried 200-400% increase but when taking the rendered picture into illustrator and decreasing the size, it´s sort of pixelated..
I feel it´s sort of pixelated even when looking at it 100% after rendering when imported to illustrator. When just looking at it with the image viewer the quality seems to be somwhat better. Getting the vector sharpness I´m used to in Illustrator won´t happen I guess, I´m aware of that. Perhaps it´s not possible to get it real sharp in Vray(?)
I wish I could just set a DPI function to 240 like in photoshop.
PNG did the trick! Thank you!
Even when rendering in default 2048x1536 and looking at the finished picture in 100%, the edges are not straight and smooth (in this specific project). I´ve heard about "anti aliasing". Is this something that can help with the problem? Where can I find that function (if it even exists) in Vray? And should it be turned on or off?
ps. I hope my questions are seen as perhaps benefical to other new users of Vray, and not as spamming the board. I´m a professional graphic news designer and these are questions I need in my work using the program.
I found it, wasn´t named BG Colour so I missed it! Works great!
Yes I figured that, but I can´t find one. Seems like a real basic function which should be easy to find, but no luck here I´m afraid..
If any other amature is interested, I found clicking skylight reflection on and then adjusting the colour to be of great benefit! The colours in the scence are now not lightened up and I can´t see any reflection from the blue sky.
Why "reflection on" would turn the reflection off is beyond me, but I´m still new at this and I´ve been wrong before
I found this on the web, but I can´t find "BG colour" anywhere under Environment. Help?
"1. Plugins
2. V-Ray
3. Options
4. Environment
5. BG Color from 1.0 to 10.0
6. Close
7. 'R' - Render"
Is it possible to make the background white when rendering?
Thank you.

I have a scence with objects. Some with a reflective layer.
The default blue colour of the sky is reflected in the objects. Can I make the blue sky not reflect in scence objects?
Thank you.
Can I save a rendered picture with transparent background? If so, how?
This is a big one for me, if I´d be able to do that.
The easiest way is probably the best way for me, being an amature compared to most
Hi,
When I add a reflective layer in the material editor to an object the object reflects the surrounding like I intended. But it also seems to make the colour a bit transparent which I don´t want. Maybe it´s not transparency but it becomes much lighter. The colour is a yellow gold colour which I want to be strong. When adding transparency it becomes lighter, which I don´t want.
I don´t know if this makes sense to anyone, but any help would be great! I want the gold to reflect but not turn into a lighter gold colour.
Thanks!
By the way; is REFLECTION the same as GLOSSINESS?
No kidding. I became like 800% better at Sketchup and Vray after 3-4 questions. This forum is perfect for someone like me.
Is it still avaliable? I can´t find it anywhere. I might me going about looking for it the wrong way, I don´t know.
