RE: Cannot snap to Profile Builder objects
Hi pilou. Thanks. Yes, that would work I guess, but I'd still have trouble inferencing to a centre to draw that diameter in the right spot?? I just seem to think its a band aid solution for a process that should be a no-brainer for it to work. It's a lot of extra time for dumb work.
I'm wondering if it's a profile builder issue?

Cannot snap to Profile Builder objects
Hi,
Something I have noticed in my short time with SU, is that when you cut a section (say a horizontal section through a houser to create a floor plan), an item that I have pulled from Profile Builder (steel hollow column) that has been cut, the cut plane of the object cannot be snapped or inferenced to.
For example, the section plane cuts through a steel hollow column. The top of this column at the cut plane cannot be snapped to at all.
Normally this has not been a problem, until I take over to layout and try to dimension to it, and cannot get an accurate dimension to edge or centre of column, because I cannot snap to an edge or centre.
This seems to be a pretty big issue, so I am assuming that there is a way around this, which I am currently unaware of.
Need some guidance here. Thank you.
On another note, my triple click has stopped working.

RE: Callout Leader lines disconnect when using scrapbook
Hi Dave, I certainly will. I am away from my PC for the good part of the next 24 hours. Will send something through when I get back. Thanks again.

Callout Leader lines disconnect when using scrapbook
Hi all, I can’t seem to get a break with Scrapbooks. Firstly, Layout crashes when I bring in a self created scrapbook detail that has more than one area of hatch pattern. A lot of forum responses to me about this, but still no fix.
Now I am also dealing with my leader lines for my call outs all disconnecting from the object (when bringing in a detail from scrapbook) they are supposed to be pointing to and all extending off and meeting at a common point far off the page. What is this?
I am new to SU, so I don’t know it all, but why does it seem that SU/LO has so many of these, what seem to be bugs in the programming? (Me having a dummy spit. Sorry just frustrated).
Thanks

Thanks TBoy. Will check it out. I also found "Repeat Copy" by Chris Fullmer of Smustard.com. works well.

How to give Patterns colour?
Hi all,
How do you make the pattern lines coloured? It seems to be only able to be black. One would think that it would be possible, but I cant work it out. When I select "Pattern" and give it a colour, it fills in the background, with "Fill" switching on. I dont want the area coloured red, I just want the pattern lines red.
How do you do this? Thanks.

RE: Multiple re-use of copied object???
Thanks helvetica. I know about that one. What I was after is to be able to copy and then paste repeatedly at different locations without having to "Click on object, Select Move, Click, Ctrl, Click" everytime. I just want to "Click on object, Select Move, Click, Ctrl, Click, click, click, click, click, click". Similar to what can be done in autocad.
