This is big news. I can't do anything about what is going on so I will wait and see. Funny how everyone is saying that Trimble won't support Apple/Mac products when their Facebook page is allowing you to win an Apple product

I'm blown away by your work! It is very inspirational for me. Love the retro cars and all the cool furniture. This is a great thread

RE: Naval Cutter "Alert" 1777
This is a great project. I'd like to see some people in the scene though for scale.

RE: Scifi Sketchup Modeling
Fantastic ship Liam! The year I have taken off from modeling has put me so far behind but it has been great watching your progress. I was doing a couple of renders in Kerky but it's not so good now. Thea looks pretty good and I like seeing what you are getting up to using it!

RE: Fantastic commercial
Good ad . But too much time just seems to disappear when playing and sometimes I don't think it is always worth it. But who cares eh? It's fun

RE: Rough idea Mountain Castle (WIP)
I like it . It might be interesting to have a series of towers following the road down its length.

RE: Suffering from burnout?
I was just going to finish off 25 years and retire because after 12 years at the same squadron, it almost hurt to come in to work every day. But out of the blue I was offered a posting to Ontario and decided to take it. I have been feeling much better now and part of that process was divesting myself of 12 years of accumulated "stuff". Now I am looking forward to my last 6 years.

RE: Birdstrike
Many years ago I was working as an engine tech in CFB Cold Lake and got to see first hand the devistation that a Blue Heron can do to a F404 GE400 engine when ingested at around 600 knots. The engine pretty much became a hollow core. Didn't save anything from that engine
Also had a bird strike on a left wing pylon that was pretty cool. There is a cannon plug at the leading edge just inside a square hole. The entire bird buried itself into the cannon plug with no other external damage. As you can imagine there was a bit more internal damage on the other side of the cannon plug

RE: Multiple Windows in Sketchup?
Good dream indeed . We dream in colour and SU is still dreaming in B&W
