Thanks for the explanation, Majid.
What about the sky? Is that generated in Thea, too, or a background image postworked in PS?
Cheers!

Fantastic renders, Majid!
Is that how THEA renders the water reflections?..quite amazing!
Have a great weekend!

Thank you Ken. Real artistry indeed!
You're welcome, Peter.
Hi all,
Here are some more concepts for the game Skylanders Trap Team.
This level is called Clock, where the players go through some clock mechanisms.
That was quite fun working on it. I will post more concept of the clock environment later.

Thanks for your comment, Jeff.
Merci Pilou for the LeMOG's link. I saw his stuff before. Really nice and detailed.

Thanks for the updates Ken. Like the wireframe!
How do you go about your textures for the SIM City demos? E.g. are the brownstone walls all one texture or separate for every brick or 2-3 textures separated by bricklike borders? And how do you go about acquiring or making the textures, e.g. if you need that tar roof texture?
Thank Peter for your kind words and interest.
I used tileable/simless textures. I got them from CGTextures.com as well other websites. I usually open them in Photoshop and do some paintover, color correction, etc. to fit my needs.
As for the borders between the different types of bricks, I use the free hand pencil tool and draw them as you can see in the image below.
Have a great weekend!

Hi there,
Long time no post. Got really busy with work. Our game ChronoBlade is coming out soon in the Asian mobile market. I will post some concepts in the near future. Stay tuned.
Here's a personal project called The Last of Them.

Hi everyone.
I had to re-install all my plugins the past few days.
There are two of them that i could not find in the Plugin Store.
I would appreciate if you could let me know where I can download these plugins.
The names may be different in the Plugin Store, but on my computer they were called:
Thank you!

Thank for your comments, guys.
V-Ray is working now. What I did was un-installing all my plugins and installing only V-Ray, then slowly add back one by one all the other plugins.
I believe there is a conflict between V-Ray and one or a few of the plugins, although I don't know which ones.
Have a great day!

Hi guys,
I have to upgrade to SketchUp 2015 (although I'd rather stay with the older versions) and also got the latest V-Ray (2.00.25539 or 2.00.25244).
Besides the nightmare of re-installing all my plugins (which is a different story), I have issue with installing V-Ray.
Technically, the installation seems to be fine, but V-Ray is nowhere to be found when I open SketchUp.
Does anyone have the same problems?
Thanks!

Wow, beautiful photo-realistic render, Majid.

I remember the first time I saw it as well. I was very disheartened thinking I may never be that good. A few years later I was able to make my colony ship.
Keep up the good work, Bryan. It's all about doing what you love with passion and practice, practice and more practice because practice makes perfect as they say.
Have a great weekend!

Great model and render, Jochen.
How did you do the texturing if you don't mind my asking?
Best,

Very nice renders, Jason.
One comment though: I agree with John, the scale of the people seems a bit off. The lady on the roof top (image 1) and the one in the living/dining/kitchen (image 6) look quite tall (unless they are very tall women ). We also should see her feet under the table in picture 6.
Best,
