RE: Bigfoot (updated)
Great work. My only crit is that Bigfoot is a Ford truck not a Dodge.

RE: Fantasy distraction...
Great work. Defiantly has a lot of mood in the image. I agree with bytor about the castle being a little too bright for the sky.

[REQ] .ai import
I was wondering if it would be possible for someone to create a sketchup importer for adobe illustrator files. The reason is because Photoshop allows you to export paths as adobe illustrator files. That would make creating face me components really easily instead of tracing over photos in sketchup.
Thanks,

RE: (TRICK) To re-enable skp file preview

RE: SU or ...? for hard surface modeling
You could always try Silo. http://www.nevercenter.com/. It is probably my favorite sub d modeling program, even over the high end apps. Plus it is pretty inexpensive.
I haven't used it but you could also try Blender. The good thing about blender is that it is free.

RE: Skyscraper001
Very nice render and design. My only crit is that you should loose the lens flair.

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] Standing Seam Metal Roof
Thanks James. I already know about the mirrored component trick. I just wanted to show the method of adding all the seams because most roofs aren't symmetrical.
I should have also mentioned in my post that you need the Joint Push Pull tool in one of the steps in case anyone does not have it.

[Tutorial > Modeling] Standing Seam Metal Roof

Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like them. They weren't that hard to make but they did take a little time to get right.

Ionic Columns.
Hello this is my first post here but I've been a member for a little while. This is a really great forum and everyone's rubies really help me a lot. I cant write ruby scripts but I can model so I will contribute these for a start. Let me know what you think.
