    • RE: [Plugin] Sculpt Tools v 1.0...

I've used Sculpt Tools for a while now, because I'm too cheap and young to pay for Artisan.

I'd really love the lock feature to work by choosing lines and/or points and locking them in all axes, so they stay where they are, but any associated lines/faces move with the bulge tool.

I wish I had the skill to modify the code, if it's even possible.

Can someone please shed light on whether this is possible/feasible?

    • Making All Nested Components Unique

      Hi,

I have a model of a bungalow which is a repeated component. Within that there are numerous nested components. I made a group of all the bungalow components, called Option_1, and copied it to make a new 'Option_2' for a new type of bungalow. I went into the Option_2 group and selected all the bungalows and clicked 'Make Unique' so that this option doesn't affect the option 1. Is there a way I can make all nested components unique so that the nested components are unique to the ones in Option_1?

I saw the "Make_All_Unique" ruby and a console script by TIG, but neither of these seem to work.

I guess I could just keep selecting all and clicking "Make Unique" within components, but that can take time.

      Ideas?

    • RE: Vray 1.6 open beta

The beta period is over, your demo license has expired. When you upgrade to 2.0 you will receive a dongle that plugs in via USB and your watermark issue should disappear.

      Hi dkendig,

I also have a beta 1.60.22 VR4SU on SU2013 and have just noticed I'm getting the watermark/600x400 res output treatment as well. I have to produce some renders in the next week, and I fear that registering for 2.0 and waiting for a dongle could take some time that I don't have... I live in Australia.

If I download the 2.0 demo/trial version, will I have 30 days of no watermarks, or will watermarks remain for that as well?

Otherwise, I might have to revert to a 1.49 trial on SU8 Pro to avoid the watermark.

      Can you please assist?

      Thanks
