I´m trying to get the Free Version of Google Sketchup for my daughter.
No way.
It installs as a Pro version with time limit in 8 hours.
Its a 31 Mb download so I guessed it was the right one.
But no.

Who is in charge to get things running in this department ?

Do i have to go to the Google SketchUp Forums to get an answer ?

but getting to this point, and in behalf of my health I´m assuming not to investigate any more, accept the end point of this software, forget about its development and work with its 4th version.

Google and his employees here are taking us as fools.

There were lots of things asked before without response or care for the users.

But I´m not so sure they´ll release the new version with Text,Dimension,and Layout fully developped, perfectly corrected.
That would not be a step back, but a huge step forward.
Something worth to be paid for.

I would take the Styles out too.Go back to the essence. Nice and easy.

That is what I vote for.
And that is what I doubt Google will do with SketchUp.

Not to take you down, but I honestly think developpers still dont know wich way to go.
SketchUp is been frozen.
A look to their forums, "Home forums", speaks clearly about their stand_ by situation.
In the meantime this forums provides the hope.
Version 6 was the end.
For me Styles must end.
Text and dimension must be fixed to get their use.
And Layout fully developped.
To do so would bring back again my fully confidence.
Rest is smoke.
And non-sense.

I love "SketchUp 3 but I´ve stopped at "SketchUp 4.

I suggest the upload attachments´s options should be in white letters.
Plus, as Anssi says, everything more compressed for a better look.
