RE: Barcelona Chair [TUTORIAL]
great modeling! A few snap shots of how you did it would be great! +1 for sharing it if you are willing to.

RE: 3D model source [including SKP files]
cool, most of the sketchup files I download are fine, but a few are missing some faces. Most need a wash with Thomthom's cleanup script but that's not really a problem.
Thanks for the link

RE: House in countryside
Great renders, the stone and plaster materials are great, thanks!

RE: Final academic work
overall good architectural renders. Some information behind the building would be good. Why did you make the ground plan reflective? I like it because it gives the renders a sense that they are pictures of an architectural model which is an interesting style if that's what you are going for. The section is a really great image.
Good job.

RE: [Plugin] Camera Recorder (Pixero update)
Hey I can appreciate the impact of deadlines on life, no worries, hopefully another SketchUp master can step in, if not I'll eventually get it with some effort, thanks again!

RE: [Plugin] Camera Recorder (Pixero update)
This seems great, is there anyway to get a tutorial on it or a visual explanation of what it is doing? I think TIG one shot(jpg) tuts are great and might work in this situation? Anyone?

RE: Armchair: IKEA and Pelican Chair
great models and renders. Really well done But how did you do the texture-ing?

RE: [Plugin] CADup
Great idea for a plugin!
I tested it with a cube and a cylinder as one component but it add the lines of the object behind the object in front for the elevations. See image and the red circles. I also tested a more complex components with a lot of nested component and it did not like that...
Hope this helps what I think will be a very useful plugin, cheers!

RE: Room for contemplation
Awesome! Very well done. I love the candles and the fabric door material. I wonder what a room that is just illuminated by the candles would be like. I guess a mediation room...

Marcel Breuer - Wassily Chair
I wouldn't be surprised if this chair has been posted on this forum before but I saw it in a book and I wanted to model then render it. SketchUp and Thea, HRDi lighting with a shadow catching infinite plane. cc's are welcome, I was thinking of adding some remaining detail but I'm not sure it's worth it.
Cheers,

Free Green Who's Next 2.0 Competiton - Voting
Everyone, the website Free Green is hosting their second home design competition. The comp has entered it's public voting phase. I urge everyone to check it out and vote. There is a lot of great work with SketchUp in this competition. The main page is here: http://www.freegreen.com/whosnext/view/default.aspx
Now for my shameless promotion , you may remember I posted some renders a couple of weeks ago. http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=33659
Those renders where from my submission to the competition, you can check it out here:
http://www.freegreen.com/whosnext/view/plan-general.aspx?id=605
There is a total of nine renders for the submission. To gain some interest, I've attached one of them.Hopefully you'll like my stuff enough to vote for it but its worth it to check out some of the others, there are a lot of good designs and renders. Even if someone else gets your vote, I'll still be pleased that you checked out the competition.
If you have any cc's on my work post them here.
I just want to say thank you, this forum is great and helped me get to the point of being able to create these renders.
Cheers!

RE: Rhodes Corridor
I think the changes you are talking about are good but I think the render is also pretty good to start. I think the ground texture could use some work and the broom isn't very good but I like everything else.
