cool, most of the sketchup files I download are fine, but a few are missing some faces. Most need a wash with Thomthom's cleanup script but that's not really a problem.

overall good architectural renders. Some information behind the building would be good. Why did you make the ground plan reflective? I like it because it gives the renders a sense that they are pictures of an architectural model which is an interesting style if that's what you are going for. The section is a really great image.

This seems great, is there anyway to get a tutorial on it or a visual explanation of what it is doing? I think TIG one shot(jpg) tuts are great and might work in this situation? Anyone?

Great idea for a plugin!

I tested it with a cube and a cylinder as one component but it add the lines of the object behind the object in front for the elevations. See image and the red circles. I also tested a more complex components with a lot of nested component and it did not like that...

I wouldn't be surprised if this chair has been posted on this forum before but I saw it in a book and I wanted to model then render it. SketchUp and Thea, HRDi lighting with a shadow catching infinite plane. cc's are welcome, I was thinking of adding some remaining detail but I'm not sure it's worth it.

Everyone, the website Free Green is hosting their second home design competition. The comp has entered it's public voting phase. I urge everyone to check it out and vote. I think the changes you are talking about are good but I think the render is also pretty good to start. I think the ground texture could use some work and the broom isn't very good but I like everything else.
