Have not tried the .DAE format - will give it a try.
You mention downloading to work on it locally: CAN one download/export GE content to SU and include their trees/buildings/etc.? I've only ever imported a "location" in SU and gotten the two layers of flat & contoured "images" of the ground-plane. (Which is great, but for this project I'm really wanting to be able to use ALL of the 3D GE context...)

RE: Demolition in Google Earth?
Thanks, juju - I understand we can't upload to the web any more, but I can still import to GE on my own computer, so want to be able to "clear" the existing GE site so I can insert my proposed site/building/trees to show an Owner how their project works in GE's context. It's the clearing/demolition within GE that I'm hoping someone can help me with...?

Demolition in Google Earth?
Is there a way to "demolish" areas of G.E. (including terrain, trees, building, etc.) so that new construction (terrain, trees, buildings, etc.) can be imported from SketchUp and viewed within the surrounding context?

SU 16 files showing wrong file date in Windows
New file names are not showing-up in Windows folder list, or are showing an older date than when they were updated. Doing a specific search for recent files finds them even when they aren't showing up in the folder. A search for only files with today's date is showing an updated file but with a date from several days ago... Co-worker is also experiencing similar file disappearances.

SU 2016 Pro - Move Tool?
Just downloaded 2016 Pro and rearranged my toolbars. The MOVE TOOL is missing from the "Edit" toolbar. Any suggestions how to find it withOUT using the "Getting Started" or "Large Tool Set" toolbars?

RE: Addendum/revision clouds
Nice example, pbacot! Thanks.
For those of us starting to use Layout for Construction Documents this would be a nice time-saver if automated as shown... -
RE: Addendum/revision clouds
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the "stock" revision cloud in the scrapbook doesn't scale well.
Sounds as if creating several sizes/proportions to import/scale may be workable, but less elegant a solution than I'd hoped. Other software has defaults for cloud-generation - ideally as a scalable line-type???

Addendum/revision clouds
Surely there's an easier way to create revision clouds than by actually drawing multiple arcs... What am I missing?
