The Google Earth layer has been updated today. I checked on your model and it doesn't seem to have been accepted.
On your page it will have given the reason for not being accepted, or the model may not have been reviewed yet.

I think they look excellent.
I think the textures need weathering though as many of the surfaces look too clean.
From my experience there seems to be some conflict between GML Text and some image editors. If I have SU and some image editors open at the same time then I have similar problems to Gaieus. The problems will persist even if the image editing program is closed. If I restart SU then the GML Text works fine.
What's your reason for ditching Modo?

My quick test seemed to work ok. Could you post the dodgy file?
My error. Just opened it up again in SU. I thought I'd deleted all the internal faces that were created when I was triangulating the model in SU, but I'd actually left 2 faces inside. I've deleted those faces and it now opens ok in Sculptris.
Has anyone had any problems importing an obj made in SU? I tried one simple model and Sculptris said that there were faces with more then 3 edges. I then disected all the faces in SU so that every face was a triangle. That obj just crashed Sculptris.

Off course The Netherlands will win this year. All the games in the quaulify round won andnot one singe draw or loose n the other played matches. And the best dutch players are well organised players in the best clubs all over the world.
So this time the Netherlands will win
As a Chelsea fan I'd love to see Arjen Robben win the World Cup. He's a magnificent player.
But it's Holland. You can have the best side in the world but they'll all decide they hate each other and/or the coach and you'll end up beating yourself.
Maybe Spain winning the Euros will help the Dutch squad to realise that winning the World Cup transcends any petty arguments they have and Holland will be able to use the talent at their disposal. I'm not so sure though. I just think that countries like Germany, Italy and Brazil have the tradition of winning World Cups that goes beyond the players at their disposal. For me it'll be one of those sides or Spain who lift the WC.

I wouldn't say I've noticed the speed increases others are reporting, but I certainly haven't had any problems with pages loading recently.
It's been very poor for me over the last few days. I'd guess that pages fail to load about 50% of the time. Today I struggled to get on the site. Then I got on and the next page I clicked on failed to load as well.
Haven't noticed any problems with any other sites I visit.
This reply failed to load three times as well.

Well that seems very strange, I can think of no reason why Google would not upload models if they were good enough, surely they can't have any geographical bias?
It's the accent, I reckon.

It just doesn't make sense to me. I've had mine which are just down the road in York uploaded after a week or so. Currently doing a model of Beverley Minster too so hope that one gets approved!
I think the only reason there aren't many Hull models is because people just aren't submitting models for that area.
linea mentions that that he had a few models on the 3DW but they weren't accepted, but he only has one on the 3DW now. I think they may have had some ridiculous acceptance issues that have since been revised so the models would have be re-reviewed, but he's taken them down.
There is actually 3 Hull area GE models. The KC, linea's model and a model of the Humber Bridge.
There's also this one which would be accepted on to the 3D Buildings layer http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=b5920ec332637cfe435effd1fb8d31f5&prevstart=12 the only problem is that it isn't correctly aligned with the satellite imagery.
TBH it varies. My latest GE accepted model has been accepted after 10 or 11 days. Sometimes it will take well over a month.
Athens is one of the cities that it's possible to model buildings with Google Building Maker. http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/buildingmaker?hl=en
A lot of the buildings you'll be able to see who created the buildings by clicking on them. You'll be able to see the 3DW description and get further info from that.
Just post a review of the offending model, telling everyone that the model is in fact yours. Provide a link to your model in the review. That way anyone seeing the stolen model will get to see that you are the creator and the other person is just passing your work off as their own.
Beyond that, what more should be done? The "thief" is probably a 12 year old boy who's only done it to try and make out he's a better SUer than he is to his friends. Google won't want to be messing about with chastising him because it's hardly important and when the kid grows up they won't want to have chased him away.
Just be thankful that he's spending his time stealing free models and not scratching your car or breaking into your house.
Mittal will probably provide at least half of the cost of this tower. The rest of the cost of the tower will probably be recovered by spectators paying Β£10 to go up the tower during the games.
The Olympic Games is now getting lots of publicity just over this tower.
The Olympic Stadium is being done on the cheap. Compared to the facilities at Beijing and the stadia in South Africa, they haven't even bothered trying to compete. Judging from the renders (and I accept they might not be accurate) there seems to be very little else that is being done to make the area visitor friendly.
I think ATM very few people like this tower. But what if the actual tower actually does look magnificent and makes a profit? Even if it looks as bad as it does in the render but makes a profit, isn't whining over the waste of money slightly daft if there has been no waste of money?

very professional looking, well done.
I don't agree. I think it is closer to a talented high school design.
