i don't know if this is the right place to ask, but i'll give it a shot.
i'm using sketchup 8 and the maxwell render plugin for it. i wanted to create spots like the ones in this interior shots. the thing is, that i don't know how to create such light cones with it. when i place an emitter they only bring diffuse light. do i have to build the spot like in reality with a reflector insinde to create a lightcone? or is it simply not possible to do that with the "cheap" plugin for sketchup and i would have to get the full render suite?
sorry for my noobish questions, i'm kinda new to the material.
oh nice π and the furniture is modeled by you only? i really liked the wooden woven chair, the weaves π ..they are modeled or transparent texture?
I got the chair from 'Archive 3D' website. You can download there models and import them in SketchUp. I added the textures myself afterwards.
This website is also very good for plant / tree files: http://plants.swtexture.com/
Sawadee Jeri. I was wondering if the middle render with the very dark sky was meant to be a night view.
I borrowed the image and played with it to enhance the night view effect.
Thanx for your comment. I used IDX Renditioner for this render which not really creates photo realistic renders. I agree on the 3D cartoon part hehe...I added some colored lights to create a 'different' effect (purple reflections in this case).
Great to hear guys! I really tried not to make a 'show room' type of space....and it came across I ques. I hope people 'feel at home' looking at the images and can imagine themselves watching tv or making breakfast in the kitchen.
