Just a quick one. I have just imported a DWG into sketchup and scaled it correctly. The only problem is when I zoom in it seems to clip the model and therefore not able to get close enough in to snap to certain points? (Version 6 Pro)

I think I see what your saying....

The only problem is though that if I copy the faces up a desired height I will be left with going around connecting up all the side panels which is again quite time comsuming if you have 100 plus buildings, also hard to keep track on which one's you have done in a dense model.

Is there a ruby script that extrudes multiple faces in one go. Say for example you have an OS map with many buildings, when then faces have been closed up ready to extrude to the specific height, is it possible to select many of these and pull them all up in one go?

Thanks for the replys, as for the second request I was trying to extrude multiple polygons in one go instead of having to extrude to a specific height then have to double click the next polygon to extrude to the same height.

Basically I wanted to be able to pick say 1o different polygons and extrude them all in one go.

1. Just wondering if it is possible to add colour to lines when you bring the in as a DWG file. As they are on different layers it would be handy to see them in different colours as the lines themselves.

2 Also is it possible to extrude multiply closed splines (lines) in one go. Maybe a plugin or manually.

We are very interested and impressed with some of the scripts we have found in the Depository. My IT manager was wondering if the are any licensing laws on using these in a commercial environment before we install any. If the are no commercial limitations, is it the same for any Script in the Ruby Script Depository uplaoded here.

Turned out my mouse driver was not installed on my new computer. Wasn't sure if it was in the program itself at first but thanks for the prompts. Works very well now.

Is there a way of setting different functions to different buttons on your mouse. Currently the middle mouse button orbits, along with the 2 side buttons, Obviously there's no point having 3 orbit buttons on your mouse when one could be used for pan and one for zoom extents for instance. Is this possible?
