Problem is fixed. I completly removed v7 from my system. It seams that he sometimes opened v7 when i thought i was working with v8.

SketchUp is at our office our mean tool and not only for visualization. We model all our buildings with SU and make real hatched sections through it which are exported to Vectorworks with a ruby and a vectorscript. We use Vectorworks only for layout. I tried layout 2, because it does almost the same what we do in Vectorworks but it is just not good enough. We even use SU for our bill of materials.

This is why i'm very happy with v8 because now SU knows the volume of objects. In v7 i had written my own ruby to calculate the volumes, it worked very good, but it was sometimes a bit slow. I have a ruby and a VBA to export and import my bill of materials to excel and it works perfect.

I use SU as a real BIM and for our office it works better than revit or any other software. And the price less than 10% of revit!

Solid Inspector doesn't load. I place the plugin in the plugin folder and also downloaded the TT_lib2 and placed it on the right placed. But the menu doesn't show up. I tried to load it manually and get the following error:

Thanks bjanzen you answerd onother question of me, but what i maen with this question is that evertime when i change the scene of my model which is inserted in LO the scale change to on other scale. Is there a way to set the standard scale of the model?

At this moment you can only set the line Weight of the vectorlines in a sketchup model. I should be usefull that you could also set the linestyle and color for this model vectors.

Now you need to explode your model to do this, it's a solution but i like to keep the link to the model because that's the strenght of LO.

I use this for seeing what's in the updirection of a floorplan. I place 3 scenes of the same model on top of each other. The section, whats below and whats above. What's above should be in a dashed line.

I try to move a scene of a model to onther scene of the same model but sometimes the snap works and most of the time it won't snap to elements of the model (and yes all models are vector or hybrid). Is this normal or do i do something wrong?

Is there a way to setup the scale of scenes? OK i know how to setup the scale in LO. But I want to define the scale before it comes to LO this way i could make a kind of template with already all scenes put in LO and i just need to relink to another model with the same scenes predefined.
