Hi there! I was curious if it's possible to round a corner with an uneven offset? I'm looking through guides and documentation, but I figured it would probably be easier to just ask the source directly instead of spending a couple hours researching a feature that might not even exist. Thank you for your time!

RE: [Plugin][$] ThruPaint - v2.8d - 13 May 25
Hi there!
I've been using ThruPaint for awhile without many issues, however I was talking to a friend that also has the same plugin and he mentioned his works a little differently than mine.

Whenever I select a material to paint with, the selection menu completely disappears after I click on a given material, meanwhile his stays up.

I have to exit out of the plugin completely then reopen it to get that selection menu again. Is there a setting I'm missing that would make it so mine stays up as well? My friend said he didn't change his settings in any way to make that happen, so I'm at a loss for what I should be doing to get the same result. It would be really nice to be able to do that as well.Operating System: Windows 11

I'm referring to the angle between the triangular faces above the "belt" and the angle between the trapezoidal faces below the belt. They are different so the arc lengths will be different. I tried to simplify the illustration but making a 3D thing instead of a 3D object.
Ohhh gotcha. Yeah unfortunately there isn't much I can do about that since I can't change the angles of anything since it's based on a design someone else made. I'll just have to live with it.
Thank you for your time!

The angles between the faces are different so the lengths of the curves would be different. You can see that more easily when the angles between are more different.
I'm afraid I don't fully understand which lines you are referring to that have different angles. Are you talking about the yellow lines, green lines, or blue lines?

Did you try setting Offset to Strict?

Well it looks like I got some better results! I gave that a try, and everything looks a fair bit more equal now.
It's not perfect however. The points between the two sides on the top and the bottom are slightly off.

But I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter that much. I still wonder what might be causing the inaccuracy though.Thank you for the tip!

RE: [Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
I've run into a bit of an error (probably on my part).
I've got two pentagons stacked on top of each other to make a makeshift pyramid and I went to round all the edges except for the bottom edges with an offset of .5" with 5 segments. For some reason, all the projected edges are equal except for the sides of the bottom half. They appear to shrink in size in that particular spot.
The edges are all connected correctly making up one shape, yet this issue is occurring. Does anyone know what might be happening?
Thank you!

I'm running a Windows 11 computer, running SketchUp Pro 2023, and did a fresh install of the SketchUcation plugin manager.
Did you install SkeetchUp correctly? That requires right clicking on the installer file in your Downloads folder and choosing Run as administrator. If you didn't do that, repair the installation. Close SketchUp, find the installer in your Downloads folder, right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and when prompted, choose Repair.
Hi there Dave! Thank you for your offer of help! I gave that a try with no results so then I tried completely uninstalling then reinstalling SketchUp as an administrator and the toolbar still wasn't there. I did notice that the SketchUcation add-on manager was still installed with the program, so perhaps the uninstall didn't actually remove all of the files of it in my computer. Either way, now I've got a secondary issue of V-ray's toolbars also not showing (I'll reach out to them about this issue). But yeah, I'm not sure what to think of this situation.

RE: [Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
Hi there Fredo6! I just downloaded your Round Corner plugin and I'm running into an issue trying to get the menu bar to show up on SketchUp. I know that it doesn't appear right away when you install it and that you need to restart SketchUp. However, when I close and open up SketchUp again, the menu bar still isn't there.
It's still somewhat functional as I am able to access some of the features by going to Tools/Fredo6 Collection/Round Corner in the menu bar at the top of SketchUp, but that's about it.
I'm running a Windows 11 computer, running SketchUp Pro 2023, and did a fresh install of the SketchUcation plugin manager. I downloaded LibFredo6, closed and reopened it, then downloaded Round Corner, closed and reopened it and nothing shows up. There were no error messages in the download of LibFredo6 and Round Corner so I'm really at a loss for what I did wrong here.
Thank you very much!
