@ggunn said: ...... I go to tools > axes and align the red axis with the roof edge. Then I right click on an axis outside the geolocation image and select Align View. It flips the whole model upside down and looks at it from the bottom......... If you redraw the axes you not only need to redirect the red axis, you also need to tell SketchUp where green needs to go. You skipped doing so and now blue points down. When you right click on an axis in empty space and select 'Align View' green wiil always be pointing up on your screen. red to the right and blue towards you (perpendicular to the screen and out). This means that you look at your model from underneath. Pay more attention when redrawing the axes to not only draw red but also green.

@ggunn said: "I would trying clearing the IE caches/temporary internet files next." My apologies; that seems to have worked. I had cleared the history but I had not gone into internet options and dumped everything. Once I did that, geolocation started working again. Thanks! Good. Glad that took care of it. And as you've discovered, there's a difference between clearing the history and clearing the caches. @ggunn said: ...and I don't have IE at all on my Mac. No, on Mac SketchUp uses Safari. You didn't bring up Mac before and your profile indicates Windows so I didn't think it was necessary to mention Safari.
