Hi,
is there a plugin available that will fill a shape with a selected group or shape and trim it to the shape?

I want to fill shaped roof areas with a roof tile I have modeled. I know I can create an area of these tiles and do an intersect with the roof shape but a plugin would make the process a whole lot easier.

I am using Sketchup V7

I use Podium at work and and I purchased Twilight to use at at home.

I'm finding Podium gives great results with interiors but Twilight with exteriors.

Just my thought.

I could never in a million years create what all you Ruby creaters have done.
I use lot of free Ruby's and have just purchaced 1001bit Pro and let me tell you that these have made using Su such a breeze.

Hi all, this is my first post. I have searched but cannot seem to find a solution to this.
I am probably an "intermediate" user of sketchup. I do ok but not great (but i'm counting on getting better!)

I have learned quite a bit by browsing this forum and now need some help.

I need to create a roof of corrugated iron for a new house design. I am using the ROOF ruby to create the roof it's self and to replace roof panels with corrugated iron I make a large piece of corrugated iron, copy and paste a roof panel on to the iron, explode both and do an "Intersct Selected" then erase the material that is remaining. This works fine but is a very drawn out process.

I have attached some pics of the result I am after.

I'm hoping someone has had experience in creating iron roofs like this or can suggest a plugin or a more simplified method of acheiving what I want.
