Hi everybody :
Using a window frame that I created, how do I create "window screening" for it ? The kind of screening you use on patios.
Thanks garystan

HornOxx :
I make them "thicker" so as to add detail (moulding) around the window. I guess I COULD add the moulding on the wall around the window.

Mike Amos :
Do you mean a higher resolution background ? If that's what you meant.....I guess it COULD use a sharper background. Thanks for your input.

Hi everybody :
Hopefully, I'm in the right room for this question.
Can I edit a component as a "group" ? My latest project has two components that are copies of each other. I made one ceiling light, made a copy of it. But, (if I understand this correctly) if I make them a "group", to be able to edit each one separately. I intend to have one of the lights light up, the other one reflecting the light. But, I'm not sure of the exact steps in making them part of a group. Correct me if I'm wrong..........I hightlight the both of them (even though they're components) and click GROUP ?

Apparently, Maxwell for Sketchup has been removed. I tried your link, and I get an "Ooops......" error page. I tried looking for it and, again, it has been removed from the internet.

Mike Amos :
Yeah....I guess you're right. The wood IS kinda flat.

I figured it'd be easier to model the "front" of the furniture versus the back.

I made this tub a little larger than normal. Why ? So when you sit in the tub, you don't have sit with your knees up to your chest.

This is a "redo" of an old project. The original was done in another software (which I don't use anymore), so I couldn't edit that rendering.

True....the carpeting on the wall is an "old" idea. But it DOES help with soundproofing. The furniture ? I'm still, in a motif like this, trying to find something that someone could "sink" into. Thhanks for you input. garystan
Mike Amos :
I was trying to model the furniture with comfort in mind. The kind of furniture where someone could just "sink" into. I appreciate your input. Yeah.....still trying to improve on the furniture. Thanks. garystan
Hi everybody :
This might be an "off-the-wall " question. Does anyone here, in the Sketchup rooms know about Twilight Render ? I have a (sort of) technical question, but the "pros" at Twilight Render always seem to be offset when someone (like me) has a hard time getting the "knack" of how to work with lighting. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks. garystan
Hi everybody :
Hopefully, this will relax you...............
