Pete, you have eagle eyes... The background has not been add in Post process, but it was in twilight at a background fit image that why there is no reflection on the floor. I have done a new render with an HDRI as sky Probe and here is the result. 9 easy preset overnight...

Long time that I don't post image, Here is a living room (design concept for a client).
The furniture was 3ds model imported into SU.
easy interior 10 preset for 6 hours, with a little PP ACDsee pro as usual.

Here is my first try, I have Thea since 2 days...
I found that the interface is very professional, a lot of preset, Maybe at this time I know only 5% of them...
The model is made in Sketchup 8 free, exported to Thea. 6 hours rendering 100passes TR1 preset at 1400 pix, no Post pro except for the border and signature... (I have just adjusted the contrast and exposure in the "Darkroom" of Thea...)

I need more experiences and test...

A new composition, and this time a bedroom...
Model from the web and the furnitures and decor are from my library as usual, I have built all the rest...
This time I think SU is at it's limit...The full scene is about 114 mega(beds and pillows...)...hard to save without a bug...

Rendered with Twilight, 5 hours at preset easy 9, 62 passes 1400pix, neat image, Postpro with ACDsee (really cool and cheap soft) Overlay with the su scene at 10%, contrast, border and text, That's it...
I am not happy with the curtain linen material... I will change it...
