Ok just see it...

Fred, every time you make a new post, I become a bigger fan of yours. If you continue to do so, I'll be your number one fan.
Since in the last topic of yours I brought into discussion the beautiful Candice, and after reviewing some of her images (Google images) I've noticed that your images are very "earthy" to say so. What I mean is that I think you need some blue or gray in your color scheme. Not saturated , and just here and there, like a sofa, a curtain or a small wall.
I'm not very good with colors, I just love architecture and interior design more and more, and I don't necessary know what I'm talking about. It's just something that you could experiment.
Regards,
StefanThanks a lot Stef for your kind comment, I notice what you say about the colour shame.

My Barbara Barry's inspiration
Hi all,
I like since a long time Barbara Barry's interior design, very class and chic for me.
So I decided to make this composition just for fun with 90% of the Barbara Barry's furniture and decoration items.
On another hand, I would like to demonstrate that the association between Sketchup and Thea is just what I wanted for a long time.
So easy to setup the scene (Ceilings, walls, lights, materials) in Sketchup and then let's go to Thea, setup the view and the lighting without furniture.
After that, I can merge what I want, there is no limit... It's amazing...

By the way Fred I note looking back on your image, there is some rather evident tiling in the flooring.
Thanks Richard, I changed the floor mat in this second view.

What's the trick with the light rays I see in Sketchup ?
PeterHi, The light you see are tne IES spot fromthe Thea exporter pluggin.
@roger said:
I like the way overscale baseboards and the thick wall. Having said I like the thick walls, what is the reason behind such deep walls?
Hi Roger Thank you, the thick walls are fake it's a trick, my client like thick wall too, so I decided to fake like you can see on the image attached.
@chedda said:
Looks good Fred, if i was being picky i would say the tv needs to show some reflections and the lens flare on the spots is not to my taste.
Thank you, You are right, the lens are not so nice...

Hi to all,
This is a new project, I started by the living room. Built with Sketchup and the fantastic "Profile Builder Pluggin" I really love this one... :thumbup:

Sofa and decorating items are 3ds files merged into Thea.
Render time 5 hours, 105 passes, TR1, small PP, De-noised a little bit and contrast.Hope you like it, I start today the back of the scene, the dinning room and the wine cellar.
Comments and questions are welcome.

Nice render Fred. Love the black and white theme. Only the Chandelier is not high poly enough. You can see the segments. Other than that I would say: keep up the good work.
Tanks for your comments, indeed , this chandelier is not really nice...

Hi, Fred. These look really nice.
Have you tried BSD? A friend of mine swears by it. Also, he omits the wall behind the camera, so more light enters the room.Hi, I have tried with BSD, but for me the mood is better with TR1 preset...
