Thanks D-space,
As you know the Twilight Render interface is very easy, and after a few tries, It is easy to get a good result.

Hi all,
Here is a render that I have done last night...
Interior+ preset, 56 passes in 7 hours. A little PP with Acdsee.
Furnitures and materials are from Evermotion, curtains are from the ware house here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=7e35b2794268295ce3f7a74e12a274ef&prevstart=0
I know, it's still a bit noisy, I will let cook again and update...
Ps: This file is very heavy, about 40meg, I can really see the difference between SU 6 and SU 7 last update, with SU6 it is quasi impossible to work on this scene, but with SU 7 last update, it's ok...
Hi all,
Pete, these renders are awesome...
Because we are on a SU Forum, can you do a comparison between Twilight and Thea render ?
Example: render a SU/Twilight scene, and export it as an "XML" file into Thea Render and render it also without changing settings. Only to compare the speed and the quality.
Actually, for me the interface and the material editor of Twilight is the most easy and practical in the market.
It Should be great for me, to setup a scene with the twilight interface, and render it with Thea render, maybe more quickly ?
Thanks for your comments red_shift,
I agree about the back wall material's.
My computer in an 3years old Quad core 2.66ghz with 3go ram and Nvidia Geforce 8500GT...(I think that now we can get much better...
Hi all,
70 spotlights
5 IES differents
Light emitor materials (Fake preset)
Bump maps
Etc...
Rendered in 2hours only at 1000 width !!! Preset: Tech - Photon map - 9...(The best for me)
The project is a Fashion shop accessories for Lady (of course!!) Here in Nice (French Riviera
...)
I just make a quick PP using ACDsee Pro, essentially for the contrast.
Comments are Bienvenue...
Thanks for your comments,
Ok, here is a new render with some spotlight on (not eco-friendly... )
I used the medium preset as i do not have time today, 1 hour rendering and 2 minutes on PS and ACDsee Pro.
I have just printing on a Photo paper this render, and it really look like a Photography
Medium Preset for me is enough good, 1 hour rendering, and PP it is perfect for my clients and quick.
Comments are bienvenue
Hi all,
Long time that I haven't posted a render... I am very busy at the moment, and no time to do nothing except working...
Here is one project in the south of France. I can't show the whole house, but here is the fitness area that I am working on at the moment.
The Facade decor is a kind of puzzle that took me 5 hours to draw on Cad then import to sketchup. (It is my idea )
No PP (except the name) direct from TL...
Still a Wip...Comments are welcome..
Hi all,
Is there a solution to export a SU file in a solid object format ?
I explain, even when I export a SU file in 3d-DWG, it is not recognized as a solid object.
There is some add-on for Autocad to import directly a SU file into it, But they are not free, and also you must have Autocad...
Thanks for your help...

Hi all, a new project in the Alpes, Rendered with Twilight in 45 minutes high preset and a little bit of PP.
Hi, Very nice model, here is my try with Twilight and a bit of PP (NPR), I know that it is a bit "drama render"...
Hope you like it and congrats for the model...
Yes It's a quick NPR
First I render my model with Twilight, I use only the water material and the glass material of twilght, And I setup a Spherical sky, shadow at 10. I don't edit any texture (no bump, no reflection.)
I use a gray scale image from SU, I choose multiply layer on gimp or photoshop and transparency at 25%.
I think that the image rendered and the shadow with Twilight even in small setting have a good quality.
Hi all,
I have tried to find a new style for my image. I make a test with my clients, and it's ok...
I render an image without touching nothing on the material editor, except the Majid's Twilight water material and the Twilight glass Mat(very quick render at medium+ preset around maximum 10 minutes...)
After a bit of PP (essentially contrast). I export a Black and white image of the scene, and I mix these two images in PS and put the tranparency of the b&w one at 25%. After that a bit again of pp again (Contrast), thats it, total in 15 minutes maximun...
What do you think about this style of image ?
