nice functional design, Eric. Beats the boxes-in-the-basement set-up that I've got.

Thanks, Ron. It's nice to have a collection as you have posted, it makes it so much easier to find a style that fits the situation.
Very nice
very apropos with the impending release of "The Simpson's Movie"
Thanks Jim!
I have not been able to login using the supplied information. It responds "login incorrect".
Why not a few more? As before, authentic Shaker designs to scale.
What are those topic icons for, anyway???
Goodnight,

Tom posted this link in another location to some components on 3DW, but I didn't want it to be missed. These trees are beautiful, by "pepe".
Check it out:
I can't be left out of the upload party.
Here's some Shaker design components. They are authentic and to scale (imperial), built by moi from measured drawrings. (As Norm would say it).

Enjoy,
Thanks Robert for your time and generosity in sharing these textures.
They will be valuable, I haven't many good fabric textures.
Thanks, Jim.
I'm sure I will use these.
You've accumulated quite a beer IOU tab.
(looks like we need a "beer" smilie)
Jackson,
I'm with you on the name. I think that it is still hard to regard "Sketchup" as a name for a powerful professional tool.
Perhaps the pro version should get a new name, to distance it from the freeware version and to give it increased respect as the powerful tool (in the right hands) that it is.
I'm not sure what it is about the name... does it make it sound too easy? Too close to "ketchup" that it sounds silly?
I would have thought that the name would have grown on me by now- but it's been this long, and I don't think my feeling's gonna change.

Thanks, everyone. Some great ideas. My image is coming along nicely, but still without stars!
These suggestions should help.
Thanks James, I'll check those links.
I did do a google image search, but came up with mostly astronomy-geared images which were not suitable. None of the night background images that I have are hi-res enough to show stars realistically, they are too blurry and look like a smudge more than a point source star.
One thing I am pleased with is my moon component and how it rendered. I am rendering a SU site (large 100MB) in Kerkythia. I will post my moon component later.
I'll be posting my finished image in the gallery section hopefully later today.
Thanks again,
I am looking for a sharp image of a starry sky for a background for a night rendering. Everything I've seen is either too blurry or the stars appear too large.
Any info or pointers to a source would be appreciated.
Thanx.
