    • How could I model this?

I've been scratching my head trying to figure out how I could model this effect on a sphere for a project with no success. Has anyone got any ideas on how I could go about it?

    • Lines into structural frame

I need a way to quickly create lines into a structural frame. The follow me tool is too inconsistent and requires too much of a clean up job. Is their a plugin or a quick way i can just add equal thickness to these lines.

    • .xml files?

I have a folder that is supposed to be a 3d model of the city of Hamburg. But when i opened the file it is filled with .xml files. Do these have to be stitched together or is their another program I need to open them up in. Is there a way to make it one big model and bring that into Sketchup?

    • Space frame roof structure, quickest easiest way?

I want to create a structure to this roof, it is slightly filleted on the edge, the centre would have glass panels to let light through. What would be the most efficient way to do this ?

      Thanks for any suggestions

    • Lines wont create a face, suggestions needed

This problem is driving me crazy, I cant seem to get the lines to intersect the face to be able to delete it. I have tried drawing a line, I have tried intersecting faces with the whole selection. It worked for most of them but theirs a select few that just refuse to break.

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks, Enes
