Thanks all for reply, had no time yet to play with ArchVision but will let you know what I get.
Phil, of course a plugin would be the best, let's hope one day may be....

It's really good to have clever friends when you are a nut 😳
      Had not thought of that....
      Thanks for the tip Gaieus.

      Hi Gaieus,

      Thanks for input.
As far as I know, and it's the way I have used up to now, when you create a terrain through the sandbox it comes out as a group and if you want to project an image you have to explode the group before.....is there an other way? If you are working inside an edited group you can't select the image to project, can you?

    • RE: Again, why exploding is so slow?

      Good morning Hank,
Woke up this morning and it was done! So I don't know how long it took exactly but it is more than twelves hours anyhow......
The model is 117923 edges, 80544 faces, 12,1 Mo from an import .dxf of altimetrics lines.
GE image painted on top (that's where the need to explode comes from). Now I'am going to "carve" the roads πŸ˜† just for fun because it's already on the way, steepy isn't it?
      Have a nice day,
      Patrice

    • Again, why exploding is so slow?

      Hi all,
As I am experimenting one more time the slowiness of SU exploding, I still don't understand why and wonder why it is so slow.
One advantage is that, as while explode is running it's not possible to work any longer in SU, it gives me time to jump on the forum, trying to find a workaround.
Grouping all the lines, altimetric curves, was done almost instantly, sanbox it took 5 minutes and now that I want to explode my machine has been running for almost five hours and is still going..... 😞

Yes Daniel I read that too, but it looks like it is PhotoShop compatible and I would like to know better about the way it can be used within PS.

    • RE: Send a message to Google: Hire CraigD now!

      Done too!
CraigD has been of invaluable help to me, as well as to many others I'm sure, when SU 6 was released. He is so friendly that it would be a shame to see him gone.

      Come on Google, keep him!
