      Hi all,
I have just downloaded KT today to give a try and face the very same problem than Daniel.
The export file doesn't show the .xml extension and doesn't save.

Any help or clue welcome, thanks in advance,

      Hi rhankc,

I think what you're looking for is flatten.rb that you can buy from smustard for $5 as far as I can remember.

      Hope that help,

    • RE: How to get that real effect

      Hi maxx,

There are many rendering devices working from SU that can help make it more real...
like Artlantis, Podium, Kerkythea, Vue 6, Indigo and so on, apart all the styles you can create
      directly in SU.
And of course Photoshop or other similar apps helps a lot in the final look.
      Good luck!

    • RE: Zooming then model disapears

      Hi syburn,
      First erase the construction lines then if you do a "select all", you will notice a little line far from your model, erase it and everything will work fine;
      Hope that help,

      Interesting work Krisidious!
Where is that supposed to be built?
The two last have particularly nice curves, remind me of some Gaudi Barcelona stuff!

      Keep on the good work,

Smart job Shaun, is it all and only SUP?
Too bad we have to see that through "youtube", we probably lost a lot from original.

    • RE: SU as design tool

      Hi Edson,

Lucky guy working with three girls!

I would recommend Artlantis for the ease of learning. I have been using it for many years now and just turned recently to Atlantis Studio, very good at moving ojects. Have you try it?

      Hi Perk,
Interesting looking model. I agree with Gaieus about using the sandbox from the construction lines of the tubing.
Good luck and let's know what you get.

      Bonne journée à tous,

    • RE: WIP - Office Bldg

Great work with SU jfmalone, but also nice clean, simple, and efficient design!
I have always thought, and I use it a lot, that the pure SketchUp look is almost perfect for work presentation and I wonder why we try to give it that realistic look through various render soft, although it's true, it is an other very funny part of our work twickeling with lights or transparency.
