gai, that was not hijacking, since al asked, if we have problems...

as soon as i have an umlaut in my filepath or filename, i can't export a dwg-file out of SU. no problem in exporting it on the desktop, which is "schreibtisch" in german, but imagine, in finish it is "työpöytä". a real tongue-breaker

as a workaround i use only ae instead of ä, ss instead of ß, an so on... an if necessary, i can rename it before i send a thing to the client.

hier steckt die lösung: unter voreinstellungen alle erweiterungen aktivieren, und zack hat man den punkt am mittelpunkt im kontext menü!

and yes, i did solve the problem: i had not checked all the extensions. now i have the point at center again!

am i having a very blonde moment? well, at least i have a problem with 'point at center', maybe somebody can help me out here.

in SU5 if you draw a circle (or an arch) you can select it, and in the context menu there is at the bottom 'point at center'. or select the circle, go to edit > circle > point at center. if it is not in the context, then you have to copy the contextmenu.rb from the plugins folder and place it in the SU folder.

in SU6 i just can not find the 'point at center'. it is not in the context by default, copying the contextmenu.rb makes no difference, in edit > circle there is no option for the centerpoint.

i know there is a ruby at smustard called centerpoint, works like a charm with the full circle, but since it sets the centerpoint to the selection, it does not work with the arc. and it is not in the context menu.

so where is it hiding? and how do i get this to the context again?

btw: i tried both mac and pc, latest versions of SU6, same thing with both.

jerry, it is 65 kilometers from Ludwigsburg to Schwäbisch Gmünd (yes, that many umlauts)! that is a looong distance to travel ever day!

but i do think you are right, whatever coating is used, if it is applied to the inside, then it should also be applied to the outside. though i still would use oil on such an old goblet.

on the other hand: with what was it treated before? if it has any other coating, then the oil would not be suitable.

i have a wooden bowl, which i use as a salad bowl. sometimes i forget to do the dishes and the dressing sits in the bowl for a whole night and my dressings are famous for having very much vinegar. the bowl seems not to mind, there are no stains, but i do treat the bowl with oil (normal vegetable oil) twice a year. i wipe with plenty of oil and the next day i wipe away all the excessive oil.

ich hab jetzt das ruby installiert, aber im kontext ist es nicht, sondern unter werkzeuge. sehr mühsam, ausserdem ist es nicht das kreismittelpunkt-ruby, sondern das mittelpunkt-ruby. blöd bei kreissegmenten, wenn man den kreismittelpunkt wissen möchte.

ich fühle mich zu diesem thema besonders blond

heisst das bei euch weite?

hier im süden (und auch bei wikipedia) heisst es breite.

leo, das ist mir schon klar, dass die schrift auf meinem comp drauf sein muss. und ja, es war natürlich eine seite, die mit css formatiert wurde.

azuby, das plugin ist wirklich hilfreich! allerdings zeigt er dann den code in dem format, wie leo das gesagt hat. aber ich werde es an anderer stelle auf jeden fall einsetzen!

am schnellsten und am zweckerfüllensten scheint mir die lösung von bert: seite als pdf drucken, dann in illustrator oder linofont aufmachen, text markieren - schrift wird angezeigt.

try this: import three components, see in the statistics, it says three components. now group two of the components, and the two dissapear from the statistics. is this a bug or is there an explanation for this?

ja, da gab es was... finde es aber nicht auf anhieb, schau doch didiers ruby library depot durch.

kann mich an ein script erinnern, mit dem man die statistik des modells in eine excel datei exportieren konnte, welches auch gleich die attribute mitexportierte.

ich meinte aber, dass es mit dem pc auch auf meine erste methode ging... werde dies mal heute abend testen.

ich möchte ja nicht merkmale ändern, sondern folgendes: ich habe eine schrift auf einer homepage gesehen, und die gefiel mir. ich wollte wissen, welche schrift das ist, habe den text markiert und in diverse layout programme eingesetzt, auch word. und jedes programm hat mir die schrift in die standardschrift umkonvertiert.
