I was wondering if there is anywhere within Sketchup where I can find when the current file was last saved?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to link a Sketchup model to another file. I have a pdf file that contains the original idea for my Sketchup model and I was wondering if there is a way to link them together. If linking is not possible is there a way to make a "note" in the Sketchup model where I could include the particulars of the origin of the pdf file. Thanks in advance for your input.

TIG, thanks for the information, unfortunately when I click on the material icon, I don't get the second dialog box.

Is there a way to tell what material has been "assigned" to a component. In the entity info box I see an image of the material but not a description. Thanks

Thanks guys for your input, I really appreciate it. Dave thanks for the comments an SDmitch thanks for the help. I did come across a post that led me to Fredos Scale tool that lets you scale a component to a specific dimension which seems to be just what I had in mind. Thanks again!

Dave, no nothing anymore complex. I had drawn a rectangular component as the start of a raised panel and then decided to change dimensions. As I was using push pull to add 1/4" to each edge of the panel I wondered if there was an easy way to accomplish the same thing.

Is there an easy way to resize a compenent, adding a uniform amount to each side? For instance, if I have a component that is 10" x 10", is there a way to add 1/4" to each side, changing it to a 10.5" x 10.5" other than by using push pull on each of the edges? Thanks

Hi Joe,
As suggested in earlier posts, I updated to OS X Mountain Lion as well as the latest maintenance update of SketchUp Pro 8 and it appears that allows the plugin to function, although as mentioned above the extended entity dialog box is initially blank and requires a right click to have the information show. I've used the plugin briefly and it seems to be working.

I was wondering if this plugin works with Sketchup on a Mac. When I try to utilize the plugin, the extended entity info window opens but is completely blank. At times I can select a different component and the dialog box will show information, however all of the information fields are blacked out. Any help would be appreciated
