Nice work.
Would like to see it from different angles and not in xray.

RE: Roof.rb v1
That sounds good TIG and an improvement on what is already a fantastic tool.
Look forward to testing version 2.0! -
RE: Roof.rb v1
I did have the same problem as Alpro posted above with the gable roof stopping short. This was intermittent though.

RE: Roof.rb v1
Well as I said, on my XP machine they are all working fine with 1.1.
On my vista machine, the hipped roof works ok, none of the others will.
These errors must be making your brain hurt TIG!

RE: Roof.rb v1

RE: Roof.rb v1
Hi TIG,
I have tried the script as you asked and have posted the results.
I tried Gable Ended Roof and Hipped Roof.Gable ended I picked the top face and one edge and got the attached error (image 1 & 2).
Hipped roof I get the following info in the ruby box (image 3)
Running on XP SP2, SU Pro 6.0.515
Thanks

RE: Roof.rb v1
Just tried this on Vista also with SU Pro latest version and still does not work.

RE: Roof.rb v1
PC XP Service Pack 2
SU 6.0.515Will not work, nothing happens.
I create a rectangle and push/pull.
Highlite top surface/plugins/roof
Choose whichever version, mansard, gable etc, but nothing happens after this when I would expect the roof to be created.I will give it a go shortly on my Vista Laptop, see if it works with that system.

Mike,
I followed your tutorial, but I having problems creating the top edge, rim of the bath, can you shed any light?
Thanks
Hi,
What mike did is once he gets to scene 7 where he has created the top bath profile, he used push pull to get what is scene 8.
The next step you need to select the whole model, right click and Intersect with Model. Once you have done this you can start to carefully delete (erase) the top to leave yourself with the correct profile. -
RE: How to make up an estimate?
I have never tried this ruby before, but I imagine it will only estimate things you have drawn.
If you draw in foundations, floor joists, slabs etc then these will be estimated. So a basic model may not give you much of an estimation at all.
I could be wrong though, so hopefully someone who has used this plugin can explain this. -
RE: New update to free version?
As far as I am aware, that is the latest version, or it certainly is on the Pro version.
Maybe someone fromm Google can confirm this. -
RE: Here's a little bush...
Will definately find itself into my models, Thanks Tom.

RE: Smustard
