Looks cool, but more information is better for all.

RE: Pulitzer Foundation - Tadao Ando
I finally got chance to change the stone texture below the water.
Hopefully this looks better.

RE: Urban rejuvenation UPDATED
Gorgeous renders!! These are top class interior renders.
The glass looks perfect to me, especially the glass reflection on the picture in 2nd image.
They have a great feel to them.As already mentioned, the little details really improve things. I love the doors and blinds. Are these from 3dwh, or did you model?
Which renderer did you use Pete?

Pulitzer Foundation - Tadao Ando
Latest external render using Twilight.
One of my favorite architects.

I have notice that the warehouse is beginning to accumulate a lot of very good stuff.
I have noticed this also.
It is certainly improving with time and has a lot of excellent models on offer. -

Maybe next time don't let the studio setup show in the render

How do you stop it showing at various angles, is there a trick to this?

Hi Dylan! The floor tiles you show in the first render are amazing: how did you do that?
I simply drew around them and push pulled!
It took me about 20 mins at a guess. What I did was applied floor texture in SU.
I right clicked and chose texture/position. I then drew a square on my texture, the size of the box shown when you edit the texture (where the 4 pins are)
I knew from here I could hopefully seamlessly tile it.Next I used the freehand pencil tool and in plan view quickly drew around each individual cobble in the square.
Once all were traced, I push pulled 10mm.
Some of them I used round edges on at 2mm, but I only randomly did this on maybe about a third. Finally I hid the lines at the edge of the stone cobbles, then created a component.
With this component I scaled it to the size I wanted, then simply copied it along to fill the room.
The image above was 6 components.A couple of images may show it better:
It probably sounds more complicated than it actually was. It was simply a quick brainwave and it worked first attempt.

RE: Mini Media Centres - Studio Test
That second image looks amazing Thomas.
You have pulled off a fantastic design and project here.
I can't believe you actually made this thing, that is so good!
A great site you have put together and again, what a fantastic project. Well done

RE: Exterior & Interior - Rehabilitation Centre
I like these and I really like the look of the building.
It fits very well in the image. Two things that I notice in the first image.
The three trees I think you have added would look a little better if the colour was a closer match to the trees in the photograph behind.
The blue letters COOP look a little false as if they were added afterwards. They seem to stand out too much to me. Maybe change the colour to match the column. -
RE: Where do photoreal people live
Do these AXYZ models work ok in SU, or do they require some work first?

Twilight Chairs
Two pretty simple renders while I learn the workings of Twilight Render.

RE: Twilight recreation
I agree it's a very pleasant piece of software.
I like these model type renders, nice work

RE: My first post~
I love the architecture in the first image, the colours and I think it's a fantastic Podium render.

RE: Courtyard render
A great Podium render

I love the extra touch of leaves on the water.
One thing I would suggest is a different material on the soffits. My eye is drawn to the top left where the material has a diagonal joint. Maybe even just a flat colour.

RE: The TAX MAN is going to PAY for my electric bike!
It's actually quite a cool looking cycle in my opinion.
I say go for it Mike! -
RE: Profile Builder (question)
Try installing it in: yourname/library/application support/google sketchup 7/sketchup/plugins
A handful of plugins only work in this folder on the Mac.

RE: Let's Meet in the UK, or Mlini or Dubrovnik
Hi Susan,
Just noticed you are coming to Cambridge. I live about 20mins drive away, so if I can get some time off on that day I will meet up with you!
