NULL characters aren't allowed in HTML. And NULL characters are in C (I think) used to terminate a string.

You DO need Jim's 'Construction Line Tool' ruby that lets you draw construction lines as if they were normal lines. http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/2008/02/plugin-construction-line-tool.html Note that if you use the tape-measure tool and start at a vertex and pick another point then it makes a construction line between the points, with construction points at the end... Picking a edge makes the infinite offset construction line...

Thank you for your quick reply. And yeah I noticed your suggestion in one of the above links too. The observer solution seems a little kludgey to me, especially when you can create the needed leader manually with the Text tool. So I'm still pretty new to SketchUp development, how that observers solution would work when say I would like to move my *.skp file to the other PC? I would obviously have to move it with the script which sets up observers?
