I don't know when i failed in modeling but my model is in metric (centimeter)
Hello,
I have a problem of texture mapping with sketchup! In some cases my textures are not the same scale within a block and outside.
It's very annoying to adjust the textures because their huge dimensions to show a correct result on the screen ....
The problem is that when I explode the model, textures within my block lose the mapping and become out of scale.
If someone can explain why there are differences of scale in the block and how to avoid it would be really nice

Thanks for your answer! but how to do when my surface is allready in form? i can't bend a surface to match the curve perfectly arround my door!
finally i divided my line of rounded bricks and rotated each brick texture one by one
here is the result...

Hello,
1.i'm trying to put some hedges of bricks on a rounded window! i really don't know how to do if someone have a good metod, tell me please!
2.For photorealism i have to see the edge of top roof tile and side roof tile but i d'ont know how to do it(for saving time)
For the moment top roof and side roof tile looks like flat edges (it's normal, it's only a texture!). for the top roof tile it's ok, i just modeled a top roof tile and reapeat it...
BUT! the edge roof tiles are more difficult... The ideal solution is to model each tile like in reality but it's time consuming and when i want to change texture i have to redo ALL the roof And finaly i'm only interested in viewing side of my roof like a "stairs" for the final render.
I don't know if i was able to explain my problem correctly with my poor english...
Regards,
=Djé=
Solved!!!!
Great thanks man
I have 27" and 15" dual screen and sometimes i rotate the big one... When i put it vertical, m'y smooth window appeared in the middle of my 15" screen (where it was not before rotation!)
I all here is my big problem! I copy/paste my question of one another forum... Maybe you'll have an answer...
Anglais:
Hello everyone, I'm desperate! Indeed, my window "soften the edges" in no way disappeared to make it reappear, I searched all the edges of my screen in case it would hardly be visible, I checked / unchecked the box which activates its display I reinstalled sketchup freshly downloaded over my first installation in order not to lose all my plugins (some of which are licensed) ... Nothing works! Yet I see a V-checked like any other window but I do not see the screen. even when I right click on an object to nothing appears smoother! something fishy anyway, when no window is open, the menu window is a sign - in front of the tab "soften the edges" and not to others ... It must be a good track to solve my problem either? Please HELP MEEEEEEeeeeee
