I didn't read it... I just click and wait for something wonderful to happen. I'm often disappointed. as with this all I get is new Icons I won't recognized for a month or two.

You should read before agreeing, ever watched the south park episode "the human centipad"?

I still want a constraint override button or keyboard shortcut and Object Snap Options! (also fix that center snap I'm tired of hovering)

One outrageous wish is NURBS curves for SU

      Cheers

    • RE: Invalid model

LOL, I had this error just a few days ago, the joke here is they ask you to report the steps leading up to this error.
Well if I had expected this error maybe I would of recorded the steps.
All I can say is this error message occurred after hours of editing a organic shaped building. Last step may have been to save the model? I work allot with solids subtraction and the outer shell tool. So I am sure just before saving I did a subtract operation.

BTW, the best script ever made for solid modeling in SU is the Solid Inspector from TT!!!
This tool should of been in the tool set to begin with, or maybe in consequence they should of provided a detection and fix tool instead of just blunty rejecting solids and leaving one to such the model or object in question for tiny little mistakes.

Also does anyone know how to actually contact Google support? ? ?

    • RE: Most impressive SketchUp modelling

To be completely honest, none of the great samples shown in this thread would be possible without Plug-ins and painful long hours of recreating surfaces over and over again (work around's) until it fits. Right?

    • RE: [Plugin] Solid Inspector

Hey TomTom, this is an awesome tool!!! thank you so much for sharing this.

A note to the Sketchup Programmers, weather they will read this or not, just have to say it:

Did it never occur to you that something like this should of been in the solid tool kit to begin with?!!

Do you guys ever test what you program? Put a little bit more muscle in to it, please for crying out loud!

Also try and make us some tools that don't leave fractions of tiny lines behind like that buggy follow me tool, fix it already!

Thanks. I just donated $50 to ThomThom. Keep the good work going!

      Hello,
I have installed SketchUp v.8 and SketchyPhysics v.3.1 (although download says 3.2).
When I try and make a hinge on 2 objects I get and error saying to download SketchyPhysics 3.2. It then zooms waaaay out, a small blue window appears that flickers.
Was wondering if I may have downloaded an older version of SP, or something else...?

      thomas

Same thing here, downloaded v 3.2 and have 3.1 installed error message is in green print in the top left corner of the screen.

      Any solutions welcome...
