Looking good so far, but IMHO can use some improving: don't crop the top so close (the chimney is practically touching the edge of the rendering); lose the bird, you don't have that much sky space and the bird makes it look crowded; add some landscaping and/or other elements around the house; the large paved drive in front of the house isn't very inviting.

John, please pass on to your buddies at ILM (or is it WETA?) that once again y'all have done a great job.

RE: Most common floor plan scale in the USA?
I don't see the US changing anytime soon, and the only two items I've encountered (in architectural practice) are neon tubing and Haffele cabinet hardware. The imperial system, with a few minor exceptions, is used throughout our weights and measurements standards, wether it be building products, food, land, speed and distance measurements, etc. I think most in the U.S. don't see the need to change.

John, I've run out of new ways to say "that looks great," so I'll give you two

RE: 6622 Norway House Final
Very nice, Mr. Casas. My curiosity is peaked; why is it called Norway house? The style seems more indicative of southern Europe (Italy, Spain).

RE: Most impressive SketchUp modelling
Not sure if he's been mentioned prior, but I think Tadema's work is worthy of inclusion. Here's one:

RE: :Old Kitchen:
Another good-looking image, Jason, but the cabriole legs on the table look a bit exagerated.

RE: Caterpillar
Wow! First mansions, now giant trucks. What are you, some kind of over achiever?

Looks great, as usual.
I would thing your method for adding rust to a truck would work for adding weathering to a building. -
RE: Coffeehouse
Very nice design, sir. Wonder, though, if the number of ghost people don't overpower the rendering.

RE: Helicarrier Redesign (Again)
Your work is amazing.
I clicked on the link for your online portfolio, but it is locked. -
RE: A commercial and housing architecture project
Great looking images, Pejman. Thanks for sharing

RE: Dejected
An elderly couple who have been together for decades, and still have each other to to lean on, as they take a stroll in a bucolic setting. I think contented is the correct adjective....but, then they could be a cantankerous couple bitching how those paving stones in the street are a tripping hazard. Either way, beautimus pictorial rendition.

RE: Fullings Mill
I guess it's nice, if you like equisite, realistic renderings

th3lurker, I believe that is a weir, not a waterfall.

RE: Office Refurbishment Render
Well, that's interesting.
Yoy might consider removing the dark clouds over the building in the second rendering - my first impression was the building was on fire.
