Bjr,
C'est du roman Γ tous les coups. Mais si c'est dans ta ville, Γ§a doit Γͺtre facile de se renseigner, non ?Well the only infos I can get are about the museum itself, nothing about that "little" building in the garden. And I'm a bit lazy going there again to ask people about that
Furthermore I'm not too sure about the word "roman" in english, I think maybe "roman catholic" or "Romance" would be more appropriate here ...
Anyway, thanks for the replies !

Medieval building
Hello,
this is my last sketchup creation.
I've made it from reference pictures I took in a public garden near a museum in my city.
Textures, except the roof, are also extracted from these ref pictures.Any comments are welcomed, and also ... does anyone know what kind of architecture it is ?
Medieval ? Roman ?Thanks in advance !

RE: Simple texture mapping
Thank you very much both of you !
I think AndriyG81 drag and drop solution is what I'm looking for, works well
Thanks ! -
Simple texture mapping
Hello,
I would like to front map a texture on a face - full texture on a face, no tiling.
Is there an easy way to do that in Sketchup ?
I don't find the "pins" system really handy to use. -
RE: Kitchen
Great render, except the back wall that looks a little bit like ... glass (IMO).

Cinema theater
Hello,
here is the second model I post in these forums.
All has been built with Sketchup except the lamps, lanterns, and the movie poster frames.
Renders made in C4D demo.removed (reason : total lack of interest from everybody )

RE: [WIP]Game Design Project
Cool stuff
The islands pics reminded me a little bit some of the GTA maps (I'm a fan).
Keep us posted ! -

Thanks folks !

but I would add more segments to the main arch
my low-polys mania ... maybe I should refrain with that

Pizzeria
Hi,
here's a pizzeria I've recently made.
All has been built with Sketchup except the lamps, lanterns, and the menu board.
Then I've optimized the mesh in AC3D, UV mapped (UU3D pro) and textured the model (DP3D / PSP), and then made some renders in C4D demo.I'm not a architect at all, so you might find some strange things here and there (?).
I'm just making buildings for my pleasure, and I'm mostly 3D games oriented if I had to choose ...Anyways, here it is !

RE: How do you upgrade from versions to versions ?
Thanks sketchy.
I've done as you said, and all is fine indeed.By "settings" I meant all the things we choose, check, uncheck, in the preferences (not only the keyboard shortcuts and the files paths).
Thanks !

How do you upgrade from versions to versions ?
Hi ,
I'm a user of Sketchup Pro, and I'm about to upgrade to V6.4.112 ...
I was just curious, how do you upgrade yourself from versions to versions ?
Do you simply uninstall the old version before installing the new one ?
Do you simply run the new install exe and then all is fine ?For any other software, I usually uninstall the old version then install the new one, saving before any setting/parameters files (to avoid having to re-configure the software one more time) ... but with Sketchup, I can't find any setting files anywhere ...
Where are stored our settings exactly ?Thanks !
