Regarding Raja’s parabola(mentioned a few times), it is a children’s story but which is believed by many naïve adults.

Blind men lack sight but God gives them compensating sharp senses. Though a blind man only touches part of an elephant, he feels the proximity/existence of the whole entity. A blind man perceives things differently than a ‘normal’ man blindfolded. Some people, blindfolded, think that God is what they imagine.

According to the Bible, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) In the Bible we have a complete image/description of God. Raja’s method was by trial and error and by mockery. Keeping our eyes open and reading the whole Bible, we see God in all his fullness.

      Alan,
Humans established only a concise, explicative term...! 👍
"TRINITY" was a proper proposed name, not an "invention"!

"BIBLE" term is not included in The Bible...
but The Bible isn't a "human invention"!

      Solo,

That Baptist church from Dallas is like the church of the Laodiceans:

“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked..”
      (Revelation 3:17) 😕

      Be patient…!
“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
      (Ecclesiastes 1:9 ) ☀

      Sorry, guys,
      I was on vacation…! 😮

THE TRINITY IS NOT A HUMAN INVENTION…!

There is a real GOD - 3 UNITARY Person: The Father, The Son and The Holly Spirit.

Humans, inspired by Trinity, combined those 3 ‘Powers’: Judicial, Legislative and Executive.

Initially, I mentioned: “The TRINITY is remarked even in the first chaptre of the Bible”.
I was expecting you to read The Bible, to see hundreds of verses refering to these 3 ‘CONSTITUENTS’…, but… 😲 ❗ ❓

      My conclusion: you weren't interested!

      Yes, J.V.S.,
there are Gospels and 'gospels', "for everyone".

For example, there is a Gospel for me...! Re. my Jesus:
"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

It was written above, a few times, that "God is love"

Behold a partial 'formula' of "love" 😄 :

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth."
      [1 Corinthians 13:4-6 (NIV)]

In the same time, God is JUST... ☀

      Sorry again!, gentlemen.

      Alan,
I have inclusive those “historical data” and different comments about them…

Alan wrote: “The Trinity is entirely a human invention…”

The TRINITY is remarked even in the first chaptre of the Bible (I’m sorry for you, Alan!)!:
“And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

The word “OUR” is plural, isn’t it?!! ☀

      Tom,

Jesus Christ (The Messiah) is The Son of God, is part (not a 'fragment', but a Person) of The Thrinity!
      Jesus is The God! 😮

      Andy,
I did read already Darwin, Dawkins, Sagan, and so on…, and now it’s easy for me to compare them. My difficulty is ‘English Composition’, because English is my 4th language, not the 1st or the 2nd one…

      Tom,
      I’m not a descendent of Abraham…!
You are right that Abraham is a comun ‘element’ in some God’s names, but Islam has a “God of Ismael’ and (for example) Juda has a “God of Isaac”, they are not “one and the same” (diff. names, character, attributes, etc.).

Juda’s God is a 3 Person God [The Father, The Son (Messiah) and The Holly Spirit]
What is the name of Son of Allah? (do you know that?!)

      Solo,

Re. yours “…what’s the point in quoting from the bible if indeed the whole validity of that book is the debate?”:
That Book is “the debate” for those who didn’t know it.

"The point in quoting from the Bible" is this:
“… if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:47-48)

      or that:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24)

      Alan,
At first, conceive, please, to these 2 ‘things’:

      1. “… the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:14)

      2. “… the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.” (1 Cor. 3:19-20)

God communicates w/ us in various modalities...

The Bible , written Word of God, won’t be extended, because It is complete.
It is much more greater than our necessities!
